Most idiotic/unintelligent statement contest
In this debate, I would like to compare clarity of prose between myself and Cartman. I am doing this in response to feeling personally attacked by him. If you want to play along, the way this works is that you browse our profiles looking for the most poorly formed statements you can find. This debate will have two categories to lose in.
Strange.....I admired you more when I respected you less. I think I will finish going through your waterfall basically compiling a "worst of Cartman". You can go ahead and try to pick out statements of mine, so my "worst of" can be viewed alongside yours, but .....you know..... and I know..... there is much more utter crap in your comments.
Every time you post my "dumb shit" you yourself look like a dumb shit. I love it.
I understand that you really relish it if you feel like you can make someone look dumb. It's possibly your main motivation for coming to this site. If I look dumb it is for sinking to your level.
I was nice to you and you created this debate any way. I said that you sound intelligent when you don't talk about religion.

The quality of your arguments are lacking quite often as well.
No, what is and what isn't "deformed" is contingent on the context. What might be considered a hinderance on one individual's part can be of gain to others, perhaps even to the point of net gain.
It's his use of the phrase "real definition" that stands out to me. Replace the word real in his statement with another word or short phrase that conveys his meaning better and you will have produced a less idiotic statement. Deformed is clearly the opposite of well formed.
Imagine if he said that he followed Buddhist philosophy enough to say it doesn't exist. Then you might understand. You can't make a judgment of the qualities of something that doesn't exist.

Religion, god, morality etc. are not exactly easy to simply define, but I guess YOU are unaware that the meaning of these words is a matter of serious contention.

This really hurts your case for my argument being stupid.
It doesn't require much effort at all to scan your waterfall and find glaringly stupid statements. It WOULD require some effort on your part to show me some stupid things I've said. Exerting effort is clearly not something you enjoy.

Why let the states have any sovereignty at all. Why not have a completely unified set of laws for the whole country?
If I made a list of the reasons you gave in that debate to support the idea that Gay Marriage should not be left to the states to decide, it would make you look bad.

Both. If you are constantly being approached by proselytizers that you have to send on their way, you have justification to complain. Maybe your life situation exposes you to proselytizers a lot, in which case I could see you being frustrated. But I doubt this is the case.

This is not true. My friend was attacked by someone in school growing up. He reported it to the teachers and counselors because he had about 50 pounds on the kid. The kid wouldn't stop until my friend threw him in a trash can. Some people only respond to violence.

It's stupid because you use the fact that there may be some few cases where it's not stupid, to defend that you have made a habit of it.

I am scanning your waterfall. I don't have time to thoroughly check the context of each statement that stands out to me, I expect that the ones that aren't truly idiotic will be rebutted, and not upvoted. The one's I am willing to take you to task on will end up at the top and I will address them.

Putting "evidence" out en mass without checking to see if it is relevant or not and then just defending a few possibly valid points or expecting the others to get explained away is a bit of a "gish gallop". One might say this is crowd sourcing an argument, but really thats being generous in this context.
Were he to scan my waterfall, and do the same thing I did, It would clearly show who makes more idiotic statements. However, since his waterfall is so full of "easy pickins" compared to mine, he'll have to do something BESIDES quoting me, to keep the score from getting lopsided in my favor.

I was in a car with a husband, his wife and his brother. The husband made a comment that the brother then used to tease them both. The husband clammed up but the wife continued to try and defend herself. The more she talked, the deeper she dug herself into the hole. The brother just kept using her words to prove his point and tease her some more. Finally I stepped in and told her, "Men have learned that when you get teased, the best thing to do is to keep quiet. Otherwise you just get more of the same." And you sure as hell don't make a debate about it so that everyone else can jump in on the bandwagon and harass you even more ;)
