Most overrated musical artists of all-time?

Jennifer Lopez and Paula Abdul, for the same reasons, their voices really aren't very good. They shine on other talents, like choreography, dance, and even acting (for Lopez), and I'm not knocking any of those talents. But to say either ever deserved best selling albums based on their actual music is a farce. It's the rest of the package which sells them. False. I listened to j-lo religiously before I even knew what she looked like and actually began to listen to her music less frequently when I saw her. But that's only because my young mind couldn't interpret the feelings it gave me. Also, the rhythm of the music also contributes to the ratings. Can you determine whether or not she was rated for her singing, musical rhythm, body, etc and also determine how much of her ratings came from that? Also, if you were much more observant of human beings, then you would see that the majority of them listen to music, mostly for the beat, not the voice. It's all opinion either way. j-lo doesn't write her own beats nor play her instruments by the way. She sings, choreographs, and dances. I acknowledged the latter two talents. Your comments on rhythm and beats is a compliment to her handlers not to her own talents. This is the second place in today's posts by the way where you pretend to know about me and the way I think and you have been wrong on both. 2

You guys probably don't know him but there was a kid in my elementary band class named Landon who could play barbie girl on the piano and everyone thought he was the coolest guy alive. I still don't understand why, it wasn't that impressive and he could only play that one song. Over and over. So I'd have to say Landon is the most overrated musical artist of all-time. He's underrated if you ask me. You wouldn't ask me, but you should. Let's take his hair for example, very messy and very fake, to have the courage he does to stand in front all of those people and still preform is one of the qualities which give him such a fantastic rating. Also, take his ugly attire into account, for the same reasons listed above, he deserves his rating. And his singing? OMG cartman! His singing, OMG. I'm surprised that he didn't get more rewards. He probably didn't get as many because they didn't want to have to call him, "Lorde Reward" I agree. If all the nigger dicks that ever been inside fergie were on her outside she would look like a porcupine. I think nirvana is simply a decent garage band. Good enough for maybe local gigs. Their lyrics are juvenile and emo and depressing. Cobain was a wannabe Jim Morrison with one-tenth the talent. I guess if I was a strungout teen living in Seattle who was a homeless skaterboy I might think nirvana was cool. The Dead always simply bored me. To tears. Nuthin there!!!! Sound like a bunch of old hippies jamming together in their backyard on the weekend. Eminem is underated for what he should get ratings for, drake's music has a good beat, Katy perry makes people feel positive, lady gaga could quit her job at the post office and yet she would still be a male lady, Taylor swift looks like an alien with a face lift after she takes off most of that whore paint. 1

Nah...like all junkies, Cobain (Nobrain) built up such a tolerance for smack over the years that he could easily kill himself.. Besides, how difficult was it? To just sit down and pull a shotgun trigger with your big toe and blow your head off? I defy anyone to say they understand most of his lyrics...like on Smells like teen spittle without consulting a lyrics sheet. All but unintelligible. Like most of his emo swill. |
