New President

What would you like to see from the new presidential candidates?

Lets rephrase that a little:

What is your ideal president?

I want someone in office who is potentially insane. Somebody who you would wake up and go, "What the fuck is he going to do today?!" Someone like.....CHARLIE SHEEN!

"Someone like.....CHARLIE SHEEN!"

XD I'd vote for him! Imagine his campaign slogan: "WINNING 2012"

"Imagine his campaign slogan: "WINNING 2012""

Wouldn't that be: "BI-WINNING 2012"?

Excellent question Sunset! My ideal President would be everything the current POS POTUS isn't....starting with: he would have to be a man WITH balls.

That's the thing about Reagan. No one could ever say he didn't have balls! We desperately need someone like Ronnie to come and step up to the plate!!!

Personal experience on how to run a successful business... Not play politics and DO WHAT IS RIGHT, not what is politically correct..also a person that has actually read and will vow to follow the Constitution as written. That's for starters....

Government isn't a business and shouldn't be treated as one.

There are vast differences between running a business and running a country.

One the bottom line is profit, the other the bottom line is people.

The constitution is a important thing to be followed, but keep in mind that there are a multitude of ways to interpret it.

A libertarian would be ideal for me.... stay the hell out of my business, low taxes, strong military but stay out of the rest of the world's biz-natch! And STOP SPENDING SO MUCH FUCKING MONEY!!!

The problem with libertarians is the belief the economy would be better off as a whole for everyone if the majority of people have much less of a say then a minority of people in most economic matters then if the majority of people had more of a say. The invisible hand can be thought of as the net economic desire of the people, but each individual's will has a magnitude proportional to his wealth. When there are many people of approximately the same wealth the negative affects of a few individual's economic desires 'cancel out' or are of a small magnitude but when just a few people control the invisible hand there is no check against them except for government. Democratic government acts as a balance, giving the poor more of a say in the invisible hand such that negative effects of too few influential players do not occur.

Ideally my choice would be a Washington or Jefferson( no Goddamn it, not the one's from the projects), but where are these today?

I want a president who is a patriot first, conservative second and Republican last. The president needs to follow the constitution to the letter. This land is a republic and not a democracy and as such, it is a land ruled by law in which the constitution is that law.

The United States is generally refer to as a Democratic-Republic, as it has characteristics of both..

My ideal president is the same as everyone elses' ideal president. A president who thinks and believes exactly as they do.
