Newbies or oldbies?

Who do you like better on CD. The newer users or the older ones?

I've only been here for like.. two months so I don't consider myself as an old user.

But I was just wondering who you like the most, and if you had to stick to one group of people to debate with for all eternity.. who'd you pick?!

I'm a Newbie, so I guess I support the Newbies... yay for being biased!

Need something to break the stagnant waters here. One can never have too many "Does God exist" debates with such long and intelligent responses such as yes and no.

I'm going to vote for the newbie side also, since I'm also a newb, even though I don't usually pay attention to who's new and who's old, so I don't know who I like better.

Gotta stick with my people on this one. We may be anxiously counting down the days until we are revered enough to get our own spotlight debate, but we're still human and need love too, dammit!

Truthfully, I don't really give a shit. But two months? Really? You're considering that Oldbie now? You're a newbie denial.

Read it again, carefully.

I am one so I support it just like my race. At least there won't be any CD riots

Who cares. Anyway being newbies or oldbies there is no difference. Don't criticise your old grandpas and grandmas

A new wave of enlightenment is cresting on the horizon. Nothing can stop it. The mighty truth descending upon us shall mark the birth of a new world, a world that values reason and logic. No man can survive it. No barrier can slow it. Worship it, as it surrounds you. No man escapes the crushing boot of reason. No person escapes it's logic.

Come, bear witness to a new age of man. Praise its holiness as it crashes down around you! Drink in the new world. Abandon your darkness and come see! For it is a new day!

I'll stick with the "oldbies"... experience trumps youth and ugly people any day! :D

527 days on CD makes you a newbie not! ;)

It depends on how long you think it takes for someone to be an "oldie". It will be different for everyone.

I prefer the users who have been here since I joined that I can remember, but there a few of the newer users I enjoy as well.

The most reason new users on the other hand... I honestly have not been enjoying them much at all.

"Oldbies" doesn't sound like a good term, maybe "veterans" would be better. Or the "old guard".

I guess when I was a newbie, the site was a lot more exciting. Immediately I either respected certain people and strove to give other people challenges. This makes me fell kind of nostalgic actually. Back when I was a newbie, there were so many awesome regulars.

Just for the sake of nostalgia, I want to name a few people that I really admired who have either disappeared or rarely come anymore:

trumpeter93

Sulith

TERMINATOR

MKIced

I like the Old people back then when I was on and I didn't have ReventonRage or Mackindale come and dispute my argument. I am looking forward to both of them not coming back ever again.

That's kind of rude srom. Besides, the people who dispute your arguments are actually make the site more fun, also that's kind of the point of a debate.

That's what I was thinking what's the point of coming on a debate site if you dont want people to debate your argument, unless of course people were being rude there are some people who instead of debating intelligently just say your an idiot because you have a different opionion to them

Yes that's what I hate because most of the new people will get more up votes then I usually do. And whenever I debate with them and they dispute my arguments other people down-vote my thing to the point its -5 points or more and then when they dispute my arguments they get like 10+ points that's what I hate and its irritating.
