Next in my series on sexism: sexist females, are they hypocrites? I say yes.

Because they have been targeted by patriarchal sexism for millenia and they have the nerve to do it to other people? See stryker, I am angry at all sexists, not just males. Jace, should I post something about intersex and transgender sexists? You thoughts, gentlemen?

Jace, should I post something about intersex and transgender sexists?

Rather, moderate a discussion on sexism in general. Being transgender has taught me a lot of things, foremost among them that sexism does not just trap and disempower women. Certainly, women face clearer social discrimination and disadvantage as a consequence of sexism but ultimately the most commonly held notions of femininity and masculinity are damaging to everyone (both within and outside the sex and gender binaries). I do not see that there is much use in discussing sexism by men, women, or those outside the binary specifically and by category because anyone can be sexist towards any sex or gender.

P.S. Thanks for asking. :)

They are sexist, but not necessarily hypocrites. They would be hypocrites if they were female feminists.

I actually find the topic of sexism against men quite interesting but I don't know whether Dana is really interested in this or this is just an excuse to personally attack someone again :/

No honey. Sexist females piss me off more than sexist males. Women should know better, but they do not. I am prochoice, but the bitches on the Planned Parenthood Action page on Facebook attacked me, libeled me, and filed false reports against me for not agreeing 100%. They are sexist against men because they do not want men to have an opinion on abortion. Ment have the right to freedom of belief on everything, including abortion.

Sexism against men is certainly fascinating, I agree. I think it is also an under-discussed and under-recognized issue. I find the legal context especially interesting, particularly around issues of custody and parenting rights.

He is just finding another excuse to attack me. Pay him no mind.

Personally I believe you should say what you feel and go on your marry way. If you believe your race or sex is superior then either keep your mouth shut or say it. And when you say racist or sexist remarks then be prepared to get sexist or racist remarks back.

People get butt hurt over stupid crap.

Sexism is BAD! How dare there be a religion based on sex? God will smite sexists for worshipping sex!
