No One Cares Unless You're Pretty Or Dying
Is this statement at all valid? Clearly it's not an absolute truth, but is the tendency in today's world?

They're just jealous and/or acting like they care. No one really cares about anyone else . People are to stupid to see others for who they really are and thus can only care for an illusion of what maybe. They care for their own interpretation of the person, which is purely selfish. Everyone only cares for their own ideas. Ideas of ideas. Side: nahh

Thank goodness there are many people out there who do care without any compunction. There are and have been doctors who donate their time in other countries (e.g.MSF, Fred Hollows, etc), people who look after the homeless, the mentally ill, the disabled, sufferers of dementia and alzhiemers, etc etc, social workers who help anyone in need, etc etc. and so many more examples. Our world is full of caring people who help others who are unable to help themselves. Side: nahh

I think that people who are naturally pretty have more advantages in some situation(such as getting help, attracting others, etc.), but not enough to say that other people who are not absolutely gorgeous are treated unfairly. Also people that are dying get more attention because we want them to feel loved and cared for during their last months or days, but that doesn't meant that people do not pay attention to those who are in good health.
