Gary Johnson is #3, but it's easy for people to want to go one on one in ANY sort of competition.
But the truth is that this isn't a battle. It's not a popularity contest.
It's a democracy where we are trying to vote for the person who can lead us the best.
Gary Johnson is that man. His policies will end the war, legalize LGBT marriage, give us fair drug law and immigration law, AND he will give us a free market economic policy, finally allowing people to get jobs- or MAKE jobs.
I'm not wasting my vote, nor am I wasting my courage.
Gary Johnson can win if we work together. Look him up and you will see that his policies are far superior to the two evils we have running now. I cannot vote for a lesser evil. I will vote for the guy who is actually good.
Without Obama, 1.we would have never killed Osama Bin Laden, 2.we would have never gotten the "First black president in the U.S",and 3.there wouldn't be that "If you got a business-you didn't build that" thing.
It's about the environment and the earth, in my opinion. We have no right to cause global warming and contribute to the extinction of many species and habitats just because it helped a few americans get jobs... we cant rely on fossil fuels, we need to look into alternative energy before it's too late.
Romney is intent on destroying the world! He keeps prompting war on Russia, he puts his dogs on his car roof, and he asks questions like " why don't they open windows on airplanes?" <(True fact...) Obama is no Jesus though :L I hate him for his lying about Guantanamo, but it's a case of, would you rather swim in a pool filled with jellyfish, or let one sting your leg. I'd vote Obama, though i'm neither old enough, or the correct nationality :)
Romney puts dogs on the tops of cars, Obama eats dogs... so why down-vote me Jungelboy? You're not even American so what difference does it make to you?
Don't really like racism, I don't see any link between Obamas name being Hussein, and him eating dogs :L Jungelsons my name not just some random thing i picked out :P
You're calling me racist for stating a fact? What the hell kind of logic is that? You're the one being racist suggesting all Muslims eat dogs! I didn't say a word about his middle name. And Obama admits he ate dog as a kid in Indonesia.
So what! Loads of people have eaten dog, doesn't mean they do it on a regular basis. And no trust me i'm not racist! You may come back with some sort of " Oh really, then how come" e.t.c. But I know my self better than you do and i am certainly not racist. This is not the point anyway. I don't see how you could favor Romney over Obama, the guy is a complete imbecile!
I don't care what you think about Romney but if you think he's stupid then it is probably you that aren't very bright. You may not agree with his policies (and I seriously doubt you really know anything about them) but Romney has said nothing that would lead any normal person to think he's stupid. Obama said he visited 57 states... I don't think he's stupid... it was a gaffe.
Romney has an English degree from Stanford & was valedictorian, and topped his MBA program at Harvard & topped his Law qualification (also at Harvard), and (regardless of whatever help he had starting) has done very well for himself in business. He became governor of a state, ran a successful winter olympics program, and is now running for, what is pretty much the top job in the entire world. He's definitely very successful.
But, success is not intelligence. And all throughout his campaign trail, he has shown shocking examples of his own intelligence, he appears to lack any form of critical thinking, and seems to have no consistency to what he says. From what we have seen over the last 12 months, you would not say that Romney is very intelligent, by any means.
If you consider success as being clever, then yes, Romney is very clever. But by any impartial and objective analysis of his behavior over the last year would imply that he is far from clever - he would be an idiot, some would say. Liber argues this point well, if you want to see.
I love being hated! Even though you are a million miles away from advocating Romney, you still support Hellno. Sure why not! I just find it humerus seeing all these people making completely in-accurate judgments about me, and the best bit is they all seem so sure about it! I really hope Romney does not win, because though as someone rightly pointed out, I am not an American, if he wins it won't matter which country you're in his 'idealistic' frame of mind will affect us all!
Since when do I hate you? I would have supported you if I had written to you - you're both right, depending on how you define the question (is he intelligent, what is intelligence, and how do you measure it). I made no judgement about you. Really, your statement was more correct - the bullshit that Romney spews sounds far from intelligent.
Ah I see, it's just that most of the well known people on this site ( Hellno, Chuck Hades e.t.c.) All disagree with me :L You have a fair few amount of points so I made that judgement. Never mind :P
And all throughout his campaign trail, he has shown shocking examples of his own intelligence, he appears to lack any form of critical thinking, and seems to have no consistency to what he says.
In all honesty, Romney has made his intelligence ambiguous, to me, for allowing his affiliation with the Republican party. Yet, his political preference is seemingly the reason why I see him as an intelligent being. You must remember that most of our lives are referendum in that we relive our beliefs through different actions of our daily lives, Romney does not posses such a political luxury.he appears to lack any form of critical thinking, and seems to have no consistency to what he says. This does not reflect his intelligence, moreover his morality of being; it represents the lier he is. Rather, it could enforce the idea of him being vastly intelligent, being able to jungle a diverse range of lies with relatively few gaffes is truly a political god-send. His ability to debate and defend ideologies that do not mimic his own, to me, is an astounding representation of emotional emptiness and intellectual genius.
Obama definitely no doubt about this subject. Romney only seeks to treat America like a business he own to gain profit out of. We do not need another Republican President that will repeat George Bush's policies that ruined the very foundation of American society. Fascism, Racism, and Bigoted tenedencies is Mitt Romney in a nutshell to even consider otherwise is idiocy and the definition of an oxymoron.
I hear lots of people say that "Obama has done nothing while in office." For one, he has a Republican Congress. The only thing he can do is veto laws, they need to be passed by congress before they can be put into use. How is Obama supposed to get some of his ideas passed if the congress is Republican while he is Democratic? Another is it took 8 years for the economy to go downhill, finally ending in a recession. Obama stepped into a mess. How can he fix it in 4 years? He has done some things while in office. He made the command to raid the compound that Osama Bin Laden was thought to be hiding out in, successfully capturing and killing Osama Bin Laden. He pushed for equality, especially by repealing "Don't ask, don't tell." All in all, either candidate would be good, but Obama seems to be more for the middle and lower class, which are the majority of people in America.
Can you imagine how all the colonists during the Revolutionary War felt?
I bet half of them, the half who wanted the USA to separate but didn't fight thought it was hopeless too.
But King George was beaten anyways, right?
What if we can do that? It won't be as dramatic, but why shouldn't we vote for the person we feel is best, rather than one who doesn't seem good at all?
Only a coward would vote for a shitty candidate just because of the feeling of hopelessness.
The problem is that even if everyone who supported GJ voted for him, his portion of the votes would still be insignificant.
The two party system has such a stranglehold on the American people that any third party candidate might as well admit defeat before he runs. Both Republican and Democrat, despite their respective candidates being almost identical, are what people vote for. They vote based on name, not policies.
Perhaps if parties as a whole were dismantled then people like GJ would stand a chance. But while indoctrinated morons on both the left and right continue to mindlessly vote for the party they were raised with, we'll see nothing but donkeys and elephants for some time to come.
Besides, I'm not sure how much influence underage Britons have on the US election anyway ;)
Really? That's just really bad! You need to come to the understanding that america will be better if we try! Sure they aren't great, but you're no better.
The media covers two parties because they fund those parties. I'm no conspiracist, but the US government is in bed with those with the purse strings.
So unless Gary Johnson, Jill Stein or whoever somehow manages to get sponsored by a big corporation, then Republicans and Democrats are all we will see.
I agree birds of a feather, neither of their plans are drastic enough even if they proved sucessful in no way could be considered to help interests of tax payers and national debt while continuing War and energy spending. financial collapse inevitable
you people are dumb voting for obama. all he is gonna do is tear down this country and at the end, when his last year is almost over, he is going to tell everyone how he not even from this country and hegonna let terrorists attack us. lol just kidding idk what im talking about. i just was watching this stupid youtube video lol
