Yep. Well, he was a politician. To be frank, his biggest accomplishment will always be that he was the first black President. A history book a century from now will boil it down to that, and maybe one more sentence. Obamacare will likely be forgotten by then. And although gay marriage will probably be quite common and widely accepted no one is going to give much thought to whom of the string of Presidents in the time it came to be was the key to getting it normalized. But I'll tell you one more thing about history. Obama will generally be looked back on as a patriot who tried to help people and who (generally) was more respected at home and around the world than the Presidents who prececed or followed him. And Trump is going to be looked back on as an utter disaster who needs studied to make sure something like him doesn't happen again. Side: This

If he did NOTHING else, he brought us universal health care.. It's something 5 previous Democratic presidents COULDN'T do That's the only thing he got done, and he had to gut his original proposal just to get that through. Obama was a nothing President. It's not that he was bad. It's that he did nothing to make the American system fairer.
