I think that George should have killed Lennie and then again I don't think he should have. A reason for why I think he should have is because Lennie was too strong to be messed around with, even though he was being friendly, he's too rough to be running around hurting other people or animals for free. If George did not kill Lennie and Lennie ran away, Curley would end up finding him and killing him slowly and painfully. Either way Lennie would have suffered. Side: George should kill Lennie.

I think George was right to kill Lennie. In the book, it states that Lennie had done the same thing in the past. Lennie never knows when to stop and has no concept of when he is hurting somebody. If George had let Lennie live, he would most likely have killed more people. Side: George should kill Lennie.

I think Lennie should`ve died but then again i don`t agree because instead of killing him he could of done something else rather than killing someone that is and was close to you for a long time. But the problem with Lennie is because he gets in to trouble and when George tells him to try not to or to not get in trouble there`s always something happining to Lennie. But i think it was ok because at least he did`nt die painfully because then it would`nt be a good thing to see somene that you killed by your self and see him/her suffer. Side: George should kill Lennie.
Yes, I think George should have killed Lennie. He should have killed Lennie because Lennie could not control himself and Curley would have done worse to poor Lennie. I know Lennie didn't mean no harm to anyone, but when people start to yell at him he gets scared and doesn't know what to do. I mean he did that with Curley's wife didn't he, she started to yell at him to quit and poor Lennie freaked out and accidentally snapped her neck and killed her. Also, if Curley had got a hold of Lennie himself, he would have hurt Lennie a lot worse than George did. At least George killed him quickly and while they were day dreaming about the farm, Lennie did not feel a thing. Yes, it was sad, but just think about it things could have been worse. Side: George should kill Lennie.

I think it was the best decision for George to kill Lennie because 1. Lennie was going to be killed anyway, and 2. George wanted to kill Lennie because if anybody else did they would kill him where he was in pain and George wanted Lennie to be in a peaceful state. Side: George should kill Lennie.

Yes. George should have killed Lennie. It sucks he had to die but if George wouldn't have done it it would have been worse. It was quick and less painful then what could have happened. If Curley would have found him he would of beat him half to death and then probably hung him. Side: George should kill Lennie.

I think George was right for killing Lennie because he would've died anyways from the other men and I think that people who kill others should die as well unless its self defense because it's only fair I don't care if that sounds bad its the truth and even though Lennie doesn't really know better he still knows he has way more strength than others and he knows he's killed things before because of his strength Side: George should kill Lennie.

I think that George should not have killed Lennie because they were friends and had been though so much together. I think George should have defended his friend so that they could still go and get land together. Lennie didn't mean to kill all the mice that his Aunt Clara gave him and he didn't mean to kill his puppy or Curley's wife they were all an accident. Side: George should not kill Lennie.

I think George should not have killed Lennie but then again I think he should have. The reason for that is because Lennie didn't mean to hurt anyone nor kill anyone. He was only being friendly and didn't want no trouble. George should have not killed Lennie because it was not his place to do it. Curley may have threatened to kill Lennie and make him suffer but Lennie would find a way out. Lennie never meant no harm nor to make anyone hate him. Side: George should not kill Lennie.

I think George shouldn`t have killed Lennie because they both had a future and they both had goals t accomplish. Also, George and Lennie went through rough times together so why kill him? Yeah he gets in trouble and hes mental but sometimes people just wanna live there dreams like everyone else has or wants to. Lennie didn`t mean to kill the mouses that his Aunt Clare gave him or his puppy that he loved or Curl`s wife it was all an acciedent, its because Lennnie is to strong and he cant control it. Side: George should not kill Lennie.
well if its the only way, but you could watch him at all times like a baby. he was kind of a burden. but hey he’s a good guy, who is retarded, and is super strong. so he had two options he he chose the hardedst one. if it was me i would save lennie. Side: George should not kill Lennie.
