Pets are for people who don't have children.
Is it a selfish for a person or a couple not to have children? Ofcourse,there are several reasons why women can't have children. One reason is diseases. However, people can take children from the orphanages. The problem is that you don't know whether these children will be good or bad. They may have several diseases, which came to them by genes. So, many people or couples prefer better to have a pet at home. These pets can replace them children or in many cases to practice their parental skills.

Animals need love and attention just like kids do, so in that respect, they are not exactly "low maintenance." People who are gone all day long working while their poor animal is inside are irresponsible, I think, because (at least with larger animals like dogs) those animals need to go outside and play, etc but anyway animals are able to wait for you whereas children can't because they need more aatention. if you cant or dont want to have a child then you may have a pet and it will be a solution. I partly agree with you. I have examples from my life. First of all, my aunt live alone in private house. In order not to feel loneliness, she live with two dogs and a cat. However, she has children,but they live separately. Secondly, my second aunt and uncle have a dog too. They look after the pet in their spare time. Side: against
