Picketing Funerals
Obama has banned the picketing of military funerals, should he have gone further and banned the picketing of all funerals? With the sad passing this week of Jeff Hanneman Westboro Baptist Church are already talking about picketing his funeral. Is his family any less deserving than a soldiers family that people should be allowed to disrupt them during their time of mourning?

They have the right to assemble just as much as you do. I don't care if it offends you, having something offend you does not give you the authority to take away other's rights. Besides, these people won't be picketing for much longer, everyone at those funerals is very tempted to go out and kill a few of few of the mental cases outside picketing, once one of them gets killed, the picketing frenzy will die down. Uh, sometimes I wish that the term 'freedom of speech' had never been invented and that people just respected other people's views and opinions. The idea that the 'right' to 'freedom of speech' allows an individual to defile the funeral of another person is disgraceful. Also, you claim that this may infringe on your right to freedom of speech in your home? Because you're equating the 'freedom of speech' which apparently allows people to spoil the private, personal gatherings of other people and the 'freedom of speech' which allows you to express your views in your own private situation.
