holy cow Pokemon are not real they are an idea of a game made up by some guy who is probably really rich right now the cant be suffering from being crammed in a ball because they are not real this is a pretty sad excuse for a debate topic

I didn't know they even thought about it. I know they kinda sparked their own creationism thing but so have other shows. I think its just a nice game to play and they just want something to keep us entertained......pikachu is such a good entertainer by the way.

Why?

A) Pokemon was made by a Japanese company who are not concerned with Christianity. Shintoism is prevalent there, I doubt there are many people who know about Jesus there

B) Pokemon "evolve," but this is only a technical term. Many of them mirror real life creatures (such as a worm going into a cocoon and then hatching into a butterfly) or are simply bigger and older versions, implying aging

C) There is no real evidence that they are against God, as there is no message against God. The game however, does reference: Heaven, Doing the right thing, and Burial (you can argue all you want; its mainly a Christian ideal to bury your dead).

the concept of god is an idea and should not be against to any other positive concepts towards anything of interest at anyone's expense. god should not provide any negative offense towards anything not in the bible or reflect on christian faith.

First off what the heck?! I mean how is Pokemon against God? If anything its dependently not against God because, in the game and the female Pokemon can't use attract on another female Pokemon, and same with male Pokemon. In the bible it says a woman is to be with a man not woman and woman or man and man. Plus a lot of people say that its against God because they catch creatures and put them in small compact spaces, but do you know what Pokemon stands for? It stands for pocket monsters. they're supposed to be "pocket" size. Not to mention they have to obey their masters? Of course they do! If you have a dog you want it to obey you,don't you?
