Poll: Do you think North Korea is a threat to the U.S.?
This was seen today on yahoo and the question was asked "Do you think North Korea is a threat to the U.S.?" Out of about 165,000 people, 66 percent says "Yes, the U.S. should be prepared." and 34 percent says "No, the threats are rhetoric."
I laughed out loud when I saw that 66 percent of people are actually afriad and/or feel threatened and/or feel the U.S. should be "prepared" for an attack on U.S. by NORTH KOREA. North Korea! LMFAO! The United States has basically the most nukes and/or firepower in the world anyhow, they're already on our homeland. What's to be afriad of?
Anyways, I was curious as to what you create debate users think.

North Korea is simply making sure the world doesn't forget about them. lol Poor South Korea having to deal with their bullshit. North Korea is all "Hey world, don't forget about us. We've got nukes too, even though our rocket launches fail on us time and time again. Hey U.S. you best be scurred!" . PFFFt Side: Yes
North Korea does have the world's 4th largest army, but their airforce is a joke. No airpower in modern warfare means no conventional offensive capability. However, your statement about the US having more nukes is pointless when we will never use them. The treat of North Korea is that they can share nuclear and missile technology with terrorist groups. I am honestly surprised this has not happened yet. Side: Yes

Yeah it is worded oddly, however it's pretty irrelevant considering most people should realize that we're already prepared for any nuclear type strikes on us; that is, the U.S. already has defenses built up to counter such attacks. Not to mention the U.S. gots the nukes out the ying yang, just waiting to be used... It's also pretty obvious that North Korea is not a threat, and so therefore there's no need for the U.S. to be prepared for non-threatening country. Side: No
As I already mentioned. Hell no we shouldn't feel threatened by North Korea, of all nations. China is their so-so ally, but wait, China and the United States are also allies. A. As I mentioned about, The United States of America already has a shit ton of firepower AND nuclear weaponry, probably more than the rest of the world combined. and B. China would not allow North Korea to do anything to the U.S. because China knows better; China and U.S. have a particular relationship, and I doubt China wants to fuck with that....why bother? Now if China said "Fuck the U.S. we're thinking of nuking you" then MAYBE, MAYBE I would start to feel a little paranoid, however the previous point A. speaks for itself. Side: No
