Postmodernism Is Self Contradictory

Postmodernism ultimately defeats itself as one of it's primary axioms is that as reality is subjective each individual will form a narrative that describes a reality that is predicated on furthering his arbitrarily determined group's interests at the expense of other arbitrarily determined groups, this axiom is in and of itself a narrative that describes a reality and as such (according to postmodernism) a tool of furthering the Postmodernist's interests at the expense of other groups.

Postmodernists often believe that the use of logic is merely a power game that has nothing to do with objective truth. As such, it is completely consistent for postmodernists to think and behave as if logic were irrelevant.

Well, they do rely on their own form of logic. They claim that as reality is up to interpretation the only possible reason for inequality is oppression as there's no reason for someone to form a reality in which he is less successful than someone else. They attribute this philosophy to ideas as well (there is no reason for an idea to be more prominent than another other than oppression), thus cultural relativism. The thing is, this philosophy is an idea in and of itself and as such they can't claim that it is more true than objectivism because according to them the truth is subjective and in order to not be oppressors (according to themselves) they must attribute equal truthness to objectivism. They are wrong Even in the confines of their own deranged form of logic.

Ah but postmodernists could also say that by placing oppression narratives as the focal point they necessarily marginalize competence and ability as predictors of inequality. The postmodernist standpoint would say that by doing so they reveal their aim: they don't have competence and ability and thus want to spin the narrative that their lack of success/status/wealth etc. is due to oppression. After all, postmodernists view any use of logic as merely a power game for the advancement of oneself and/or one's group.

Exactly right, if there is no objective truth then how can they profess to be correct about anything?

So it is true that there is no such thing as truth?

Huh? What?
