I think it's a great idea to Nationalize our public schools so all of our children get the same subject matter no matter where one lives. I do know that private schools such as parochial have it over public education but I don't understand why it should. We all pay taxes whether we have children or not so why not use that money to Nationalize our school systems and bring them up to par with one another so we give our kids the best there is to offer.

Time and time again, it becomes clear that in order to excel at something you need to specialize in it. The concept of a 'well rounded individual' does not work in all cases, and the round peg does not fit in every hole. I believe that after a certain grade(preferably 7th, 8th, or 9th), that traditional schooling should no longer be required.

Working from an earlier age to gain a better chance at comprehension of a particular field not only increases the chance at one will do much better when they enter the workforce, it also gives them more time to experiment until something feels right.
