I choose Puppies as puppies grow up to be loyal dogs and they are SO friendly! Whereas, cats on the other hand, are lazy and annoying. Dogs run to you when you come back home from work. Cats expect you to go to them when you return home. Haven you ever seen a cat leading a blind person across the street? Only dogs do that because they are too loyal. Cats THINK that they are your God. Dogs think you are their God. Cats don't play with you, Dogs DO. Have you ever seen a jogger running with a cat? Answer or dispute that... Side: Puppies

Puppies are way better than kittens. Cats bring pretty much nothing to the table except for a bunch of hairballs and incessant shedding. Puppies, on the other hand, are fun to play with, have much more personalities, and are way better at helping you to pick up girls at the park.

Puppies have to be potty trained, they slobber all over everything, and just give out their love to anyone willy-nilly. While kittens would as easily gnaw on your finger as look at you, they're willing to give you a mutual adorable respect. It's a close race, but I'm going to go with the animal that doesn't eat it's own mess.

As a sane, young, single woman I take offense to your stereotypical view of cat owners. I love puppies and kittens equally and am the happy owner of both. Each bring different personalities and joy to my life. I have had my cat since I turned 10 years old...he will be 16 in May. He has never hindered my ability to date or changed my state of mental health. Have you owned a cat before? If not you are quick to judge.
