Real Madrid and Barcelona are two excellent teams. But Real Madrid always picks out players who have just made a big show and improve them. Take James Rodriguez for example. He won the Golden Boot in the Fifa World Cup 2014, and guess who he transferred to. Also, many sources say Real Madrid is number 1 of all clubs, while Barcelona is fifth. Barcelona may have Messi and Iniesta and Xavi, but many of these star Barcelona players will retire soon, while Real Madrid has star YOUNG players. But its all a matter of perspective. Barcelona has developed football players from scratch. Real Madrid CF is a rich team that buys fifty players at once. Real Madrid may have Bale, Benzema, Toni Kroos, and Ronaldo, but Barcelona has grown players such as Lionel Messi, Xavi Hernandez, Victor Valdes, Iniesta, Pedro Rodriguez, Gerard Pique, Fabregas, and Carles Puyol. All of these players were on the team last year (2013-2014). Other notable players that decided (or were rejected) to head on to different clubs are: Pepe Reina, Thiago Alcantara, Rafinha Alcantara, Gerard Deulofeu, and Fernando Navarro (as of 2013-2014).
