The scientific works of James Gates would imply there is no "randomness", at least not in our reality. How so? Please show precisely how the "scientific works" of James Gates disprove randomness? Also explain why the search terms, "James Gates random", "James Gates randomness" and "James Gates disproves randomness" do not elicit any "scientific works" disproving the existence of randomness, you pseudo-intellectual nincompoop. The only relevant information about James Gates is that he claims to have found "computer code" in string theory, and since the most basic computers in existence have random number generators, this does nothing to refute randomness. The premise here seems to be that everything has a cause and therefore nothing is random. I can agree that nothing is truly random, however things can be functionally random. Use of a random number generator to generate a number is functionally random, for example. Side: "Randomness" Does Not Exist

The premise here seems to be that everything has a cause and therefore nothing is random Then that premise is falsified by the cause itself being random. If I am suddenly struck by lightning, then the effect (my death) is caused by a random event. Side: "Randomness" Does Exist

Or he's familiar with the research of James Gates and you are ignorant on the issue Actually, I am very familiar with James Gates, which is how I know he's a THEORETICAL physicist and not an EXPERIMENTAL physicist. But thanks for the spontaneous red herring you fucking retard. Side: "Randomness" Does Exist
