Hey, try and help me out with this:

A while ago, and maybe still now, the activity notifier hasn't been working, and I've been asked to show a few examples of the arguments that this happened to.  The problem is that both the arguments where I first noticed this were a long time ago and I can't remember which I were and weren't notified to responses, and if I wasn't notified of activity I don't know there was a reply in the first place.

I want to 1) Test and see if the notifier is working now in a semi-controlled way, and 2) actually know where to look if it's not.  To do this, I'm going to post an argument here and then I'm going to check back every few hours to see if there was any activity I haven't been notified to.  Also maybe vote the argument up and down or reply to the replies to see what's going on.

Oh, and whoever has experienced similar problems, feel free to use this debate for the same reason.

Here's my argument, do some stuff to it that would normally be notified to me.

Absolutely, the same thing has been happening to me! I apologise if I've slighted anyone... I'm getting very few notifications, if any at all! >:(

Same problem here... see if you get this.

The minimum length for an argument is 50 characters. The purpose of this restriction is to cut down on the amount of dumb jokes, so we can keep the quality of debate and discourse as high as possible.

Can you here me now? Can you here me now? Can you here me now? Can you here me now?

This has been happening to me too. I've found that the up/down vote notifications work better than responses.

Screw that theory. I was apparently upvoted and I wasn't notified. >_>

Side: Test

I support you 100% in this. My problem is that I've been posting replies and they are sometime deleted without reason. Another glitch perhaps?

I'm also going to try out dispute, like Loudacris..... can you read this? Hm? Well? :)

Yep, I'm getting all of these. That's good, I guess, but too bad I can't provide some evidence of the notifier problems.

Also, I love how this "debate" got so popular!

It's really bad when it's a dispute that you don't know about. Then the other person assumes you can't think of a response.

Did you get this?

Side: Test

Help me out, here! I'm so aggravated. Comment me comment me comment me.

I'd just like to confirm that I've also noticed similar issues with the activity notifier. Sometimes I'll happen to go back to a debate and there will be a reply without me being notified about it. I often see arguments voted up or down without a notification aswell.

Getting anything now? :/

I'd like to be able to dismiss notifications individually.

I think if every activity was on it's own notifyer than it would solve the problem. I also like to think on things sometimes, so I'll go to the debate and not reply right away, but the activty will be dismissed and then I forget about it. So I'd rather have controll over that.

I also don't want to be notified about up/down votes in debates I've created. I don't care, and it's annoying.

Side: Test

I agree on the votes in your debate notification, that is annoying. I don't know if this is or isn't already available, but now that there are CreateDebate communities, I'd like to be notified if one of my debates is added to a community.

Side: Test

Oh! And a button that shows all replies in a debate or on a side of a debate, because going through and expanding them all can get annoying.

Oh yeah, this just happened to me:

I had new argument activity and when I clicked on it, the only thing there was a "new response".... from myself. But I didn't even respond to myself. Like, I left an argument a looooong time ago and just now it said that it was a response to me? Anyone else???

Side: Test

Yes! That has happened to me a lot recently. I hate it, it gets my hopes up. :(

Well it's not completely stopped working but it's like half of the time it doesn't work.
