I don't agree with the bearing of arms and this statement drives a fair amount of Americans mad because they see it as a right , I guess it's a cultural thing if one is brought up thinking this way why should one feel any different ? I'm from a society where our citizens do not on the whole possess or wist to possess a gun are we any worse off than America ? Would the introduction of guns for the majority make our society better ? I've always thought that the wording of the constitution was to allow a militia to bear arms in defence of the people and not a right of the ordinary citizen to bear arms ? |
