If it makes you feel better about it, forgive them. If not, then why bother. There is a higher source that will handle all things after death anyway.

Well only if it's right to forgive them and you tuly believe they should be forgiven...

Won't make much of a difference though but is good to do...

Why should they be forgiven? Do you think they care? They're dead.

Yes... you're right. Let's not hold moments for victims of holocausts, genocides, wars and regimes. They're all long dead a long time ago... they wouldn't give two nonks if we were holding a memorial for them.

Forgiving deceased "wrongdoers" is different than remembering deceased victims.

Memorials like that are about the grieving process for the living as well as collective repentance for the horrendous acts committed by other humans. Either way, victims and villains are dead, so anything we do won't make a difference to them, but it's a way of dealing with tragedy.

I'M NOT MARRIED BUT I AGREE THAT PEOPLE SHOULDN'T BE FORGIVEN FOR DOING WRONG AFTER THEY DIE.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTRIBUTION..... AND THE INTRODUCTION TO THE WORD "im'nt".

DON'T TAKE IT PERSONAL DUDE.

Side: No

That doesn't make sense to me. Death doesn't change a person's character or negate their actions.

should you care for that corpse or yourself? Forgiving makes you feel better. If you still leave hatred for a corpse you just stress yourself.

The reason why people can't forgive the people who are dangerous because that opressor may do his action again. But now that they can't, what's stopping you from not forgiving? Your foolishness.
