Sally Kohn of CNN is confused on Sharia Law

Not surprising that this progressive idiot Sally Kohn is very misinformed because all progressives are. She is very proud to show how really stupid she is on The Religion of Islam and Sharia Law. Hard to chronicle the idiocy of this women but i shall try - In her view, adhering to Shariah law and being a progressive Muslim are not diametrically opposed, as many have argued, given the legal code’s calling for violent forms of punishment and unequal treatment of women in a court of law. Sharia is enforced in fundamentalist Islamic countries like Saudi Arabia. She then goes on with this nonsense - In short, there is a difference between personal, spiritual Sharia and the political incorporation of Sharia into law. And within both, there are progressive interpretations as well as more fundamentalist conservative interpretations. So the word Sharia doesn’t mean one thing. Classic stupid this woman is.
The liberal opinion maker, who is openly gay, should go attempt to live under Shariah for one week.
“Critics of Sharia often miss these nuances, assuming for example that those who practice Sharia believe adulterers should be stoned and gay people thrown off roofs,” Kohn wrote.
Would the openly gay Sally Kohn ever attempt to live her gay life in Saudi Arabia ? What is the attraction of progressives to a faith that would never support their views ?

One quick answer.......Progressives are truly morons! Not only are they morons, they are total liars willing to say or do anything to reach their objectives.

Now take those facts and incorporate a media and press that uses their bully pulpit to push their radical political correct socialistic extremism.

Can you say Big Brother? Hillary is Big Brother's pick!

Should Sharia law be allowed in court, to justify and defend someone that breaks our laws or to litigate against us?

States are banning Sharia law from their courts, while some countries and areas are implementing it into their laws to their own determent. And, we can blame America for not taking a stand and being the voice of justice among the Nations over the last 7 years!

We should be aware, not ignorant of Sharia law and we all should push for it to be banned!

Here in the USA, if a strict Catholic wanted to stone a woman for adultery, could the Catholic use Catholicism in our courts to defend their right to stone her? Obviously, not. That’s ridiculous!

Till recently, I didn’t take the idea of Sharia law seriously nor the threat of it being allowed here. I had an over simplistic view of Sharia law, and underestimated the threat and the effects of Sharia law here in the USA. Honestly, with the noise of everyone screaming for their rights, I became complacent, equalizing it with the other noise.

I didn’t consider how Sharia law could or would impact us here in our free country. Aside from alarming unfair stories of Muslims refusing to scan pork products at Walmart. I have to say, I was under the impression that I didn’t really need to consider it seriously. After all, what could Sharia law do to me, make me wear a burka. Well, that can’t be a real threat. So I dismissed it.

But I heard some States seriously banning Sharia law, so it sparked me to take a more serious look. And find out what all the fuss is about. Then I realized, this is definitely something to take seriously, and take a stand to keep Sharia Law out of our Country!

We don’t want un-American loopholes in our judicial system that will halt justice and excuse illegal behaviors that contradict our Constitution, our Bill of Rights, and our American way of life

Examples:

We don’t want a father to have special exceptions here in our America, in defense of religious beliefs that enable him to deny his daughter her rights, and force his unwilling daughter to marry someone against her will. At any age! We in America wont allow a young girl to be forced to marry an “old” guy or anyone she doesn’t agree to marry, regardless of her families culture or religion. We would define as that as statutory rape or contract of marriage under duress.

Nor for a young girl or woman to be beaten, in what we would define here in America as abuse. But in Sharia Law, there could be a religious loophole to defend as a fathers right or a husbands right to abuse.

HECK NO! Because we are America, its against everything we stand for. People don’t get to come here and practice their archaic beliefs, if they don’t line up with our laws!

The big deal, is defending rights of our public and of all those that come here to conduct our lives and their lives freely, without the ability of anyone suppressing another persons freedoms, as long as those freedoms are within OUR countries laws.

This is why we all should be aware and knowledgeable, and take these issues seriously. For States to feel the need to ban Sharia law, it is probably more than just a hiccup. The concern is obviously not that far fetched.

Its much more plausible and cataclysmic than requirements for women to cover up at a public pool. Although, that could be a rape defense of a perpetrator in Sharia law! Do we want that ridiculous loophole in our courts?

Some other factors to consider:

Problems like these need to be nipped in the bud, immediately!

Workers refusing to scan pork products, or a cab driver throwing out a passenger for having an unopened wine bottle, or the ability for a cab driver to invade your privacy and scrutinize your packages. These are behaviors we can not allow here, much less give Sharia laws to permit this behavior.

We can’t live that way. Its Not American!

And those examples are absolutely different than recent occurrences in regards to accommodating a basic faith principal.

As seen in these examples:

A caterer refusing to contract to serve at a gay wedding or a clerk refusing to sign a gay marriage license.

Those are excusive beliefs found resident in many Judeo Christian based religions. And the effects on the general public are different.

Examples of effect:

A Muslim or even a Jewish person can decide not to work at Walmart or a grocery store. The likelihood of scanning pork products is guaranteed to be present, all day! Making it unrealistic to work in those environments for those that are strict in that practice with an added dilemma, of everyones right in general. Especially the store owners!

A case of Muslim cab drivers - Its 10 degrees in New York City on New Years Eve, a person flags a cab. 3 cabs stop, oops he gets in the wrong one, an altercation ensues over his unopened – legal - bottle of wine, and now the passenger is left having to flag another cab, is freezing, and possibly late to their event, angry, and unjustifiably mistreated looking for another cab.

Their rights denied! Don’t drive a cab if you cant drive everyone. Including Christian cab drivers not driving gays. Its not reasonable!

An atheist or someone of other religious faith hates the idea of “In God We Trust” should that person decide to work at a bank? And be allowed to NOT cash checks?

A Muslim opens a restaurant, and he refuses to have sausage on the menu. He has every right not to sell sausage. Its his business model. If someone wants sausage, they can eat somewhere else! Right? Reasonable!

If a florist does weddings and says no to signing a gay marriage contract, she has that right, without loopholes that can damage her and her business. Someone can find another florist. There are plenty of choices, and it is Reasonable!

If a marriage license clerk, who has had her job since before gay marriage was legalized, doesn’t sign a gay marriage license because of her religious faith, which also is a common point of faith in most Judeal Christian religions. She has a right to step aside and let another person in the office who can and will sign take care of that. She is not stopping the general operation of a company like a person dealing with pork in a busy grocery store line.

And if she was, then she should possibly consider switching her career or transferring to a different department.

We need to grasp the difference and use common sense and our American values to reasonably weigh these situations!

But you don't understand it's idiots like Sally Kohn that want this Sharia Law in America.

Why don't I understand that?

I just posted a whole rant of mine on your debate about how horrible Sharia Law is.

But for the Prophesy debate it's about Biblical Prophesy being fullfilled, and I'd appreciate your contribution using scripture, even if you have to Google it.

Thank you

All that they espouse, from political correctness to multi-culturalism, both failed concepts, originates in Europe and all they have to do is look across the pond to see how it's working out for them.
