I am a Christian so, I am against same sex marriage! We have a law. And others are in the bible. For example the Leviticus 20:13. So if you are pro to same sex marriage, read about the verse in the bible.

Leviticus is for Jews.

First off, Leviticus does not apply to Christians.

Second, do you believe that homosexuals should be put to death? If not, you aren't actually adhering to Leviticus.

We all should be put to death, and we are all being put to death.

If the law given by God in Leviticus was followed, not one Israelite would have AIDS or any other STD.

Leviticus is still part of God's word for Christians to know God by.

If you want to be a pervert and get AIDS, you can do that.

Nobody adheres to Leviticus. The Israelites did not adhere to Leviticus, the prophets warned them against their rebellions, and the lost their nation and were carried away as prisoners because of it.

God did in Sodom and Gommorah (spell check) what His people had failed to do, and He's going to do it again pretty soon.

That is not the only verse: references can also be found in Romans, Corinthians and Timothy, though it would also subsume under sexual immorality.

From whence do you derive the right to force others to live by your Christian beliefs?

jesus rejects leviticus in the NT gospels and asserts that man has authority over kooky OT laws, for example he didn't condone execution over violating the sabbath.

Who cares if nobody ends up in Hell? You might as well just let them do whatever that want to do and enjoy it.

Jesus did not reject Leviticus, He fulfilled it and continues to fulfill it. His Judgment will be in full accordance with His word, His Law. The Jesus you are talking about is a false Jesus. Your gospel is a false gospel, a lie teaching people they can do whatever they feel like doing with no fear of punishment in death.

No child of God could call God's law "kooky". You are the kook here.

What kind of Christian do you claim to be? How did you become a Christian?

So If we are to follow religious (Judeo, Christian) law then why do we not feel the same about the 10 commandments. Why is there no law preventing a sin mentioned over and over in the Bible. It made it to the top of the list directly from God. Not like Leviticus which in just interpretation.

Exodus 20:8-11 8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Exodus 31:12-18 12 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you. 14 Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.15 Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.16 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.

It's funny how if the rule doesn't affect you it's important, yet you can disregard others that are difficult to obey

Yes but keep government out of it! Its no ones business. Allow Private Contracts and Church Marriage.

Wait, what do you mean "private contracts"? Are you referring to not having any sort of tax benefits?

And what would you have this contract entail? Would the government still enforce its provisions?

Leviticus 20:13 was written by man, and to be precise, the Leviticus tribe.

Same-Sex Marriage was not customary just like women wearing slacks and having office jobs back in those times. The word "Gay" isn't even mentioned in the Bible because "Gay" has a new concept in our contemporary times that most likely differs from what "homosexual" meant during those times.

This is the 21st century, so, things have changed. The U.S. Supreme Court has declared Same-Sex Marriage to be the law of the land.

Incidentally, when the decision was announced about legalizing Gay Marriage, there were some Gays outside the Supreme Court who said that they prayed for this decision. I'm sure Evangelicals and other religious Conservatives prayed for Same-Sex Marriage not be allowed, however, the prayers said by the Gays were answered.

God allowing evil to continue does not mean he endorses it.

Leviticus is God's word as He gave it and commanded it to be recorded.

The word "gay" has been perverted by perverts to falsify the reality of their miserable misdeeds. The Bible refers to men who abuse there bodies with men as sodomites committing abomination and often calls them "dogs".

Women who abuse their bodies with women are referred to as whores.

Some people who obviously know next to nothing about the Bible sure talk like they know it all.

Yes it does. He is all Powerful and if he was really all loving he would of destroyed evil a long time ago.

Some people who obviously know next to nothing about the Bible sure talk like they know it all.

Yeah you're a good example of that.

Pro-same Sex Marriage. Because, why not? The only reason I'd be unhappy with a dude marrying another dude is if I loved one of them but I wouldn't stop them...
