Christians should be the ones trying to get god removed from our currency. The Bible says, "For the love of money is the root of all evil." Just think about how many of the worlds problems are caused by greed for money. So, why on Earth would Christians want their god defiled by putting him on the root of all evil? I can take it or leave it. Money doesn't technically need God anywhere on it. In fact a very good case could be made that the human greed for money is in direct conflict with what God is supposed to stand for. It's kind of like if "In God We Trust" were preprinted on all condoms and then a satanist sued to take it off of condoms. Side: He's trolling.

(source) 89.3% of Congress members are Christian, 8.4 are Jewish, 1.4% are other religions, and 0.9% are unknown. (source) I couldn't find recent stats for Governors, but as of 2005, 98% of them were Christian or Jewish, and 2% didn't say. (source) Please explain how atheists have the government by the ass when Christians control nearly all government positions. Side: What a bitch.

There's no such thing as a progressive Christian. True Christians like myself do everything we can to stop progress. Progress is of the devil. Progress has led to internet pornography, abortion, and nuclear missiles. Progress must be halted, and we need to revert back to the way things were done in Biblical times, like stoning gays, killing harlots who have sex outside of the bounds of marriage, and beating our children to teach them discipline.
