Why the hell would I care if was grounded? My mother's 4 foot 10, I'd just push her over and go drink, have sex, etc.

Oh wait, I'm a Christian.

OK, I'd push her over, then pray for forgiveness.

Side: Keep being a Christian

Keep being a Christian; my views cannot be compromised or altered because they are not grounded in reality, they are grounded in faith. Besides, suffering is a virtue in the Christian religion. Being grounded and staying Christian only compliments my piety.

That, and when I was still at home I would've done the opposite of what my parents wanted just on principle.

No matter what I would always be christian

if your mother says that then she aint a good mother

I would still be a Christian no matter what the circumstances is. And also I would tell my parents that I have freedom of religion and they need to respect my beliefs and I don't want to convert back. I should make my own decision on what I believe in and your not going to force me into it.

One of the rules of Christianity is to obey your parents though, seems a bit conflicting.

We're talking about religion here. 'Conflicting' is assumed.

Yea! And then you'd stone your parents to death, right ?

Side: Keep being a Christian

Not really. I wouldn't stone my parents. I would probably run away to a Christian families home and whom I know.

I had to tell my mother I didn't believe in her god and she yelled at me. It didn't change my opinion.

I wouldn't change my personal views because my mother threatens me. Though me being a Christian would have the opposite effect, she'd probably cry with joy that I believe in something...

Side: Keep being a Christian

In this hypothetical situation, I assume I've encountered some pretty compelling evidence prompting my conversion to Christianity. In such a case, I would require even stronger evidence to the contrary before "re-converting" back to Atheism. Also, of equal importance, I'd need the willingness to honestly and rationally interpret said evidence.

If these two requirements are not sufficiently met, my position is unlikely to change. I'm not going to truly change my beliefs based on threats.

I believed in Christianity by the power in the Faith and believer to God and the son of god Jesus.

Side: Keep being a Christian

If Christianity were true (which I don't believe it is), it wouldn't matter what the consequences of believing it were. I'd have to be willing to accept the truth, wherever the available evidence would lead me.

Side: Keep being a Christian

If I converted to Christianity, which is highly unlikely, I wouldn't change back because of my parents. I wouldn't let other people control what I believe in.

BY SELF DO YOU CENSURE YOURSELF. BY SELF DO YOU EXAMINE YOURSELF. SELF-GUARDED AND MINDFUL, YOU WILL LIVE HAPPILY.

I do not believe religion is our savior. I do not believe churches that was made by head ministers and founder of Church. Jesus Christ ordered his disciple to send the gold and silver back to the people. Jesus mentioned that God did not live in the temple but in heaven above but Satan did live in the temple to stirred and create wars to mankind and destroyer of mankind by fire and flames.

That is not true...wether you obey or not your parent or pushing your mother that are 10'4 then you don't know god and the works of god in heaven and earth, you do not accept God and the son of god as our savior, our messenger and our light of the world. If not from them we still living in hell, fear and troubled by wars. We propbably we do not have our own house, education and other luxuries including drugs and alcohol. We probably still under captivity as slaves workers and prisoners.

If you have accepted the fact that God is unreasonable and actually were an Atheist, then nothing short of a series of literal miracles occurring directly to you (and also being observed--to check your sanity--by others) should ever make you a Christian again.

You were never an atheist or you're becoming a Christian for show.

But that's just what I would do, because I'm already an atheist and I would think to myself "Oh right, I forgot. I don't believe in unprovable bullshit".

But as far as what's morally right, don't let me or anyone tell you what to believe. Besides, I think the common scenario is the other way around; that atheist kids typically get grounded by Christian parents. Hell I don't know, they don't have survey information on that sort of thing. But most atheist parents I know just want their kids to follow whatever they feel is right.

Convert back to athiesm. Filial piety is the best. Atheism is the disbelief in any god, but it's still possible for you to follow the values of Christianity without calling yourself a Christian. I'm sure god will forgive you.
