Nowadays not all schools require wearing uniforms from pupils. It is, undoubtedly, wrong. First of all, pupils may be from different social classes, thus it will lead to unequal attitude. Rich children will be wearing expensive clothes which others cannot afford. So it affects on psychology of a child. Otherwise all of them will be wearing one uniform, so nobody will feel whiite raven. Secondly, wearing uniform means the presence of discipline.

I think, that school uniform shouldn't be canceled, because of several reasons.

Firstly, school uniform promotes united atmosphere among children, because everyone wears the same clothing, therefore there is no difference between rich and poor child and everyone can be self-confident.

Secondly, school uniform contributes educational process, because there is no bright colors or big jewelery, which can distract children.

Moreover, school uniform is cheaper, than another clothes. Also it saves pupils' time, because without uniform many youngsters spend their time with thinking what to wear to school.

In conclusion, I'd like to say that due to the arguments above, uniform plays a huge role in the society, because school years are the most significant and important in the teenagers' lives.

Firstly, school uniform promotes united atmosphere among children, because everyone wears the same clothing, therefore there is no difference between rich and poor child and everyone can be self-confident.

i understand the point about a united atmosphere, however at my school many people dress very different and we have alot of school and class unity.

Also i dont see how self confidence is based on wearing the same clothes at all.

Secondly, school uniform contributes educational process, because there is no bright colors or big jewelery, which can distract children.

Ive never been distracted by anybodys clothing enough to have an effect on my education. Barely anyone wears clothes worth a second glance except for maybe some wierd goth girl who wears 1 foot pump shoes for a day. If you honestly get distracted by peoples clothes you need some meds for your ADHD.

Moreover, school uniform is cheaper, than another clothes. Also it saves pupils' time, because without uniform many youngsters spend their time with thinking what to wear to school.

I dont see how price matters at all since individuals clothing is all based on how much they want to pay but ok. Honestly i think youre wrong. School uniforms can be extremely expensive and even the ones on the cheaper side certainly arent cheaper than a pair of jeans and a t-shirt from Goodwill or JC penny's.

And the last point is just pathetic. I dont know anyone who actually spends more than thirty seconds considering what they will wear to school tomorrow. Most guys throw on anything they find right before school and only a small amount of girls actually lay out an outfit the night before and even then thats late at night and doesnt impact school at all.

In conclusion, I'd like to say that due to the arguments above, uniform plays a huge role in the society, because school years are the most significant and important in the teenagers' lives.

1) stating "in conclusion" makes your argument weaker. a good writer should be able to tell people they are concluding without actually stating it.

2) Uniforms countly play a smaller role in any society. Theyre pointless

3) Teenage years are pretty important but not nearly the most important years of a persons life and i dont see how uniforms for school impact them positively at all.

in fact, i would say that making a child supress their individuality and creativity by stifling their choice to wear what they want at such a key point in a childs life is more harmfull than helpfull

Because other wise school would just become one big fashion contest. Children who wear less fashionable clothing would get judged for it. School uniform gives a sense of equality.

Judging will happen either way. You will shift judging based on clothes to judging based on things that can't be controlled like needing glasses or physical traits.

I agree with all arguments "for" above. yes, uniform link all pupils and, i believe, contributes into education process. going to school it is not taking part in fashion competition.

Children are free to concentrate on lessons. there will be decrease in peer pressure to wear trendier brands. you will not have to get up in the morning and think about your trendy clothes.Students take less time to get ready in the morning. overall uniforms cost less. the parents may not provide huge amount of money in order to buy fashionable clothes, just not to get lack.

Buying a few school uniforms instead of a new school wardrobe every fall is much more economical. School uniforms are designed to stand up to everyday wear and repeated washing so most parents find that they can get away with buying a few sets. With all the money a parent saves by not having to buy day to day clothes, they can (if they so choose) let their children buy a few nicer and more fashionable pieces for weekends and evenings. Wearing a uniform five days a week might make students appreciate their weekend fashions more--maybe enough to even take good care of them!)))

There's always a difference between rich and poor children.

The rich children may not be able to wear better clothes, but they will have better jewelry, better phones, more money in their pocket, better shoes, and after all, they can simply discuss the matter.

Though, why do people try so hard to erase the differences?

Our society is divided by classes, and no matter what we do, we can never ever change the fact that as long as there are classes and differences between them, those differences WILL affect our children and children are members of social classes just as older people are.

Maybe it is not ''fair'' to the poor children, but life isn't fair and they will learn that, you can't shelter anyone from reality so why bother.

Everyone knows that the children mind is fragile. If parents cannot protect them from these kind of problems, who will? It is ok, when they grow up and realize that the world is not a fairy tale. But we should save them from any mental problems, what could be forced by "fashion competition" when they are teenagers.
