Sea water is getting warmer

Sea surface level measurements in the last 120 years show an increase of the average temperature of the water. However, some people believe the data are neither accurate nor complete so we cannot say the sea water is getting warmer all over the world.

Sea water heats over the summer and it's getting colder during the cold seasons. Because the winters are getting warmer, the sea water will stay warmer over the winter , resulting in a faster process of warming in the summer. That means overall , the water temperature is higher and higher.

Knowing that the (oceans) level is rising, it's clear that big quantities of ice from antarctica are slowly thawing. That happens because of the temperature of the ocean is slowly rising, influenced by the global warming. If the oceans temperature is rising, is clear that the water from all the seas is rising to.

One of the most consistent proofs of the fact that there is an elevation in sea’s temperature is the recent mass bleaching the Great Barrier Reef has suffered. Scientists such as Peter W. Glynn emphasize that higher-than-normal sea temperatures represent the main factor triggering the phenomenon.

I believe that sea water will get warmer in the next few years. Two main reasons why I believe that this thing will happen are :

1.First of all in the last years the global warming has become a real threat for human existence, so I think that it will affect the sea temperature too.

2.Secondly, global warming is not the only reason that will affect the sea temperature.

I believe that hurricanes can affect the sea temperature too ,because somehow the warmth of the surface water(cause this is the first place where the water will be warmer) will be pushed to the depths.
