I'd rather chocolate milk or milk be served in the schools than soda but I don't really mind either one. The school is just one portion of the kids meal, I as the parent control the rest.

Unless you're one of the people who builds a case that milk as a whole is bad for us, whether it's because biologically we were not designed to drink cows milk, or because of the hormones or additives, or because of fat, etc.

Or if you wanted to argue that a more universally accepted alternative would be something like rice milk so the vast majority of the student population could enjoy it without allergic reactions or lactose intolerance.

Or if you're a mega athlete who burns so many calories there is zero problem with you consuming the sugars and calories in a chocolate milk.

So as you can see, white milk might be the winner, but it all depends on whom you're talking, too. In reality white milk could be considered just as bad or worse.

I think children and their parents should have the freedom to choose and stop regulating everything.

Another example of, white is good, brown is bad.
