Should College Athletes Be Paid?
Just looking for some opinions, do you think players should be allowed monetary compensation for thier risk of Injury? Just give me your alls dissenting opinion of eachother.

I feel they should. They are out of high school, they are adults, and they are doing something that the public would pay for. It'd be a great way to cover their tuition and books cost and help them focus on their studies what with not needing a side job. Also what you said about their risk of injury. It's practically on par with professional athletes, so the benefits should be practically the same also. Side: Yes

Shouldnt they be concentration on side jobs ad such to devlope skills needed in the real world. because not all college athletes are going to be drafted to the big leagues, and what about the other non traditional sports, its not financialy feasable to pay those athletes. it would be unfair to pay the big sports team players money but the the minor teams. I have taken into account that the NCAA makes a boat load of money. But what does the money the NCAA makes have anything to do with weather kids should get paid. They already get paid to play through a scholarship. If students get paid cash they are no longer an amateur. We might as well have 16 and 17 year olds get agents to negotiate 4 year 20 million dollar contracts. Then only the very wealthy schools can attract the top talents. Side: No
