Should Drug Testing be Legal in Schools?
So first off, drug testing is when they have you pee in a cup and test if you've been taking drugs. There have been court issues where people are saying it violates they're 4th and 5th amendment rights.
Well thanks ................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
Without legitimate reason there really shouldn't be drug testing for anyone, with the exception of jobs/careers.
The cost of testing for drugs is pretty high as well, so randomly pulling out a person who neither exhibits signs of being under the influence currently, or has had no previous concerns regarding drug usage, is both frivolous and an invasion of privacy.
Yes of course it should , cops in European countries can stop drivers and do random drug and alcohol tests , athletes are also tested why should schoolkids be any different ?
It's not like they're being humiliated or singled out the rules apply equally to all , if you're clean you've nothing to hide have you ?
Guarantee you one thing , if a kid was given or took drugs on the school premises , the same parents who talk about infringement of rights would be down on the school ,wailing like banshees about how could the school let this happen

Hello D:
Here in the land of the free, cops CAN'T stop anybody at random and drug test them.. Athletes are tested by their governing BODY, NOT the government.
Look.. No wonder your stance on Colin Kaepernik is screwed.. You don't know SHIT about our Constitution.
Oh , so they've done away with the implied consent law in the U S ?
How the fuck do you define " land of the free " , bet you won't answer as usual
In actual fact Americans have lost , and are losing so called freedoms as we speak ; maybe you're becoming the land of bound ?
Cops can stop anybody at random and test for alcohol or drugs , where did I say athletes are being tested by the government?
Saying my stance on a scumbag is screwed is typical of a brainless felon like you .
I actually know more about your constitution than you do , no doubt you only learned about in an the big house in an effort to pick it apart so as to become the resident jailbird lawyer .
Cops can stop anybody at random and test for alcohol or drugs
Hello again, D:
Calling me names means I KICKED your ass.. Well, get ready for some MORE..
First off, can you link me to this implied consent law? I've never heard of it.. But, I HAVE heard of probable cause.. Those words are IN the Constitution... Here, lemme SHOW you:
"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."
Do you understand the words, "but upon probable cause"??? It means the OPPOSITE of random. Did that help?? Nahhh... It didn't, did it?
I never called you names I stated facts as in you're a " reformed " felon ; calling you brainless is based on empirical evidence supplied by your " posts "
You never heard of implied consent ......
Implied Consent Law. This law states that by driving a vehicle you have agreed to submit to chemical tests of your breath, blood, or urine to determine alcohol or drug content, if asked to do so by a law enforcement officer.
No it didn't help at all as it fails to mention people in motor cars and implied responsibilities of drivers .
Nice evasion of my question regards " Land of the free " , but I did predict that you wouldn't and couldn't answer which lamentably is again typical of you
I hear your gums flapping about this implied consent law, but I don't SEE any links..
Lemme explain probable cause to you... Cops CANNOT stop anyone they choose at RANDOM to test them for drugs.. As I've shown, the Constitution prevents it.. He needs to have PROBABLE CAUSE to have stopped a driver..
Now, probable cause could be if the driver swerved, or did something that might indicate he's impaired.. The cop needs to DEMONSTRATE to the court what the driver DID to cause the cop to pull him over.. If he CAN'T, the driver will go free no matter HOW drunk he was. Does having a broken tail light constitute probable cause to stop a driver and drug test him??? No, it doesn't.. Could the cop LIE? Sure.. Do MOST of 'em lie? No.
Ah , the American patriot who never heard of implied consent laws , why not do a bit of reasearch you dummy ?
I love it when an idiot like you starts back tracking as you claimed cops could not pull you over now they can 😂😂 A cop can pull you over for various reasons , you've just done a huge about turn on your lazy assertions as usual .
In the world of polite debate, the one who brings up an assertion, is the one who needs to PROVE it.. You FAILED. Why??? Cause you made it up.. Otherwise you WOULD have linked me to it...
You DON'T understand polite debate.. You DON'T understand probable cause.. And, even though you DENY calling me names, you forget that we can READ...
it should be legal. school is the place for learning, students can test both good and bad. there can be more awareness to the society if the youths know about the drugs rather than closing the eye.
Uhhhhhh yeah! Because drugs RUIN YOUR LIFE. Ive seen it happen. When you allow this to keep happening, you let kids destroy not only their lives, but others lives as well. #childdealers
