Joe has been an overbearing presence on CD for sometime. Some of the old regulars have been silent for time. They may return if he's gone. Kukla has out debated and out argued Joe as of late, if not out posted him. Tamisan is much younger than Joe (assuming I have calculated his age in Hex correctly). I think it's time for some fresh blood to pick up the banner and carry it forward. We got a new president, we need a new point leader. We need change! Besides, he gives me a headache! Side: retire

Come on...Joe's not that bad. Sure he's wrong about almost everything, but some of his jokes are almost funny. Plus can you imagine CD without Joe? I mean sure he got his ass handed to him in the competition by kukla, but overall he has more points. That should count for something, right? Side: not yet!

Bettyjoe...you've been here long enough (150 days) to have put up more than 2 debates and 10 arguments. As a matter of fact, you've been here a month longer than I have! Joe may be overbearing at times and more but that's no reason to be so personally insulting on the debate boards to him. To set up a debate asking if he should hang it up and try to get any of the members here to agree with it, I'd say you have a fat chance of that happening. He also happens to be one of your allies! You set this up just a couple of hours ago so I don't think you missed the new "Start" or "Home" page here. Yes, you're right...we got a new President and we also have a new point leader!!! For this moment in time it happens to be me so there's your change! Just a couple of days ago I put up a debate/popularity contest about the people that have been missing from the site of late. Some have been working on the new site changes and two say they're not coming back. What their reasons are I do not know, however, if that had been bothering you why didn't you put up a debate about it? I've seen a few of your remarks in debates and I went over to your profile to take a look at other comments you've made. Most of them include the word "headache." Do you suffer from Migraines or something? If you don't care for Joe then why answer him or let him rent space in your head? I imagine most of us have had our round-abouts with him but most times, he means no harm. Just look at him as you would the court jester and let it go. If you really wish to be a part of this site then let's see what you can bring to it rather than complaints! Set some good stuff up and get involved in other debates. That's why 99.9% of us are here Betty...and do yourself a favor, delete this debate. It's not nice, it's not fair to either of you and it's going to effect you more adversely than it will him. New members come in all the time...the banner will always be carried forward by those who care enough about what we do. Side: It is NOT going to happen
Truly and beautifully said, Kukla. I've been a CDer for a very short time, but looking at the arguments that you and Joe put up, I am amazed and hold you both in high respects. I know this is a little late, but Joe is unique to CD and also happens to be one of my allies, so that's why I am backing him up and defending him. After all, what would it be like without Joe?!?!?!?! Side: It is NOT going to happen

Welp i see no reason why he should, given the fact that he has kept this site going with never relenting on a myriad of debates and arguments that at times may be a little much but at other times a great contribution to a debate. Joe can leave whenever the fuck he wants to =] ( if he has the willpower ) Side: not yet!

Yes, the competition is tough and I've taken a few hits. Right now I'm just looking for something to give me my second wind. Although I'm not as mean, I kinda feel like this other Joe: http://www.youtube.com/ . Bitch!..... Sorry.... my bad ;) Side: not yet!
