This is kind of a side note, but... You argue that necrophilia is not bad because there is no victim and yet your username states that being gay is a crime. And last time I checked, being gay doesn't hurt anyone.

Also, necrophilia can hurt people. Imagine if you went to visit your dead wife and found her grave to be a crime scene because so random guy had sex with her dead body. Would you be hurt? And besides that, it's extremely unsanitary. Dead bodies are literal breeding grounds for germs.

2.) Romantic necrophiles

3.) Necrophilic fantasizers

4.) Tactile necrophiles

5.) Fetishistic necrophiles

6.) Regular necrophiles

7.) Homicodal necrophiles (the only actually dangerous ones)

8.) Exclusive necrophiles (those who only have sex with the dead)

Necrophilia has a rich history in many various cultures, much of it stemming from some sort of marital/virtue issue (ie, "soul of an unmarried woman wouldn't find peace," "marriage ceremonies were held to lay a dead virgin to rest, which would involve intercourse with the corpse").

Alot of states don't have laws in place preventing this act, probably because necrophilia, along with homosexuality and anal sex are considered "crimes against nature." However, provided with that evidence, since anal sex is prevalent almost everywhere without repercussion and homosexuality is permitted (some states allow for gay marriage), necrophilia should also be legal.
