Reason 1: It makes all students the same. The rich do not get superior treatment and the poor don't get discriminated. With school uniforms you can't tell whether the person is rich or not Reason 2: Some people like wearing clothes with vulgarities on it.. Have you ever seen snapbacks with vulgarities written all over it?? Reason 3: It is to make the students feel as one and united, wearing the same uniform Side: Yes
School uniforms are do not make all students the same. In many, many schools, skirts are obligatory for girls. That sucks. Often, the boys are not allowed to wear short pants, even if it's really hot. Uniforms are expensive, and you need more than one. If the students are wearing the uniform against their will, they will not feel as one and united. There's no need to it, also. Side: No

Enough rights are already revoked from me the minute I enter the school gate. I can't speak freely, I can't wear whatever I want, I can't leave when I want, I can't go where I want... at the very least, I think, I should be able to wear my own clothes that I feel comfortable in. There is nothing about my jeans and t-shirt that takes away from my learning, or anyone else's. Nobody's outfit has ever taken away from my learning. Side: No
