But Canadians, Mexicans, Brazilians, Columbians, etc. SHOULD ALL be referred to as Americans ... just like Germans, Italians, French, etc. are referred to as "Europeans".

Yes they should.

Just like the illegal aliens--or what the libtards call the "undocumented citizens--should be called what they REALLY are..............

What about legal Brown immigrants? Or legal asian immigrants. They are the same to you as European immigrants right?

Side: Yes

Im pretty sure you already are referred to as such, but Id be happy to refer to you however you prefer.

Does it really matter? Sure, it's not technically accurate but as long as we all know what we mean then the language as accomplished its purpose. I don't see a need to get proscriptive about it.

The US doesn't make up all of North America, or the Americas as a whole, so it makes no sense to refer to American people as being solely from the USA.

In Spanish clearly realized this as they refer to them as "los estadounidenses" as opposed to "los Americanos". English should follow this trend and refer to them as "United Statesians" instead of americans

As long as the rest of the Americas keep on entering the U.S. illegally, I don't see a poblem wih it ;)

I refer to the as USAian. There are places in the Americas that care much more about.
