Is the question "should a college give its students a general education?" That is kinda the point of the first two years of a college to get you educated so you can pick a major that is good for you. If you know what you want to do right out of highschool; go to a trade school, where you aren't "forced to take general education classes". Side: Yes

I can't go to a trade school to become a vet. Yet, I took history in elementary school, history in middle school, and history in high school, and I had to take history again for my bachelor's degree where they covered the exact same stuff. That's insane, and a waste of my time and money. I'm taking 7 classes at a time to make up for the damn core classes I'm not even going to use. I rarely will need to know who was president in 1916 (Woodrow Wilson) to treat a cat for a URI. Side: Yes

I think yes, but if you add general subjects, then the number of credits will be very high and students will have to do even more tasks to get a good score. I am a university student and I understand how difficult it is to combine a university and a part-time job. Many do this thanks to services that help them to write the work. I do not see anything terrible or bad if it really helps. A year ago, I also used the https://essayexplorer.com/review/edusson service, which I found thanks to reviews on edusson.com and it helped me a lot, but I don’t know how much really to add general education classes is a good idea.
