Should cops belong to a union? SCOTUS says no. Is that a good thing?

It don't think any group of authority should be unionized. Since unionized groups are liberal; what's to stop police department from persecuting the opposition for their political views? Of course, they won't admit it, but they can target those who have views opposite theirs.

Time to have some fun with Socialist excon !!!!!!!!!!!

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3279274/Now-Bernie-Sanders-claims-libraries-fire-departments-police-departments-SOCIALIST-institutions-struggles-explain-politics.html

For those unnerved by the “democratic socialist” label that Bernie Sanders attaches to himself, the presidential hopeful has a suggestion: Take a look around.

“I think the answer is … to talk about the issue, to talk about Social Security being a socialist program, to talk about the fact that your local police department or your fire department or your library is a publicly owned institution,” Sanders said during a broadcast Thursday of NPR’s “On Point.”

SCOTUS hasn't determined that cops cannot unionize, but that public sector unions cannot compel dues from non-members. It's a good ruling.

"The U.S. Supreme Court has dealt a blow to public sector unions, holding that government workers who are represented by a union, but choose not to join, do not have to pay to cover the costs of collective bargaining.

The nine-member court ruled 5-4 that such dues, often called "fair-share fees," clash with individual rights. The fees violate "the free speech rights of nonmembers by compelling them to subsidize private speech on matters of substantial public concern," the majority wrote in its decision in the case, Janus v. AFSCME."

For police, who rely on unions for legal representation in use of force lawsuits, scabs are not likely to be common at all. The benefits for a cop joining the union will so outweigh the costs that compelled payment won't be necessary.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—

Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—

Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—

Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Corruption in law enforcement is how REAL CORRUPTION where crimes that are so blatant get covered up and people framed with ease begins. It works by firing any who catch and are willing to stand up to the regime.

If you can't just fire them without a good reason it becomes much harder to then cover up what you are covering up as a chain reaction.

I don't really support worker unions if the society has correct democratic socialism in place but since USA does not, unions are a necessity to fight corruption.
