Should girls be allowed to wrestle on a boys high school wrestling team?
We've all heard the controversies of whether or not girls should be allowed on high school wrestling teams. I myself believe that if a girl wants to wrestle so be it. If they don't have a team of there own it's only fair that thely should be allowed to wrestle on the boys team. As a lot of us know, a lot of boys probably do not feel comfortable having a girl as their opponent. They feel uncomfortable because they don't know how to react and don't want to hurt the girl or touch her inappropriately. From my point of view, if a girl wants to be out on the mat, then she should be treated as any other opponent and should NOT be discriminated upon because of her gender. Until girls have a team of their own they should be allowed to participate with the boys.
Girls should be allowed.

think what you want to think about girls and how they shouldn't be allowed to do wrestling. well I think girls should be allowed to do what ever sport they want and not have anybody tell them that they can't. so for all the girls that wrestle keep up the good work and do let know body tell you that you can't wrestle. Side: Girls should be allowed.

You may think that guys are way too strong for girls, it could betrue, but girls can work at there muscles and strength and it could be equal, why are girls always so underestimated? if a girl can work at her techniques and learn more about the sport, she could probably be as good, or maybe even better than a guy wrestler. and so what if a guy touches her in the wrong spot? she joined wrestling didn't she? i think the guys are just too scared the girls will do something to them, so i don't understand why guys are apparently better than girls. think what you want, just wait until a girl beats you. Side: Girls should be allowed.
I think that girls should be allowed to wrestle on a boys wrestling team i mean there are girls on football teams and wrestling is basically football with more moves. I am on the boys wrestling team and i wrestle against guys all the time but i also wrestle girls during major competitions. I have made it to state and winning 3rd place wrestling both boys and girls and i am proud of that. i don't think a girl should be limited to what she can do or play based off of her gender its about her dedication and about her skill if she is beast mode well damn forget the gender and add her on the team and let her show you what she can do. Side: Girls should be allowed.

If a young women is fine with the odd positions, the lack of care of where her opponents hands are, the opponent going easy in the beginning, and can keep up at practice I see no reason why not. Women wrestlers tend to have natural advantages and disadvantages which would add a new dynamic, they are more flexible and slenderer in the limbs, have a different center of gravity, well also having wider hips, less explosive power, strength etc. Considering it'll likly be uncommon for a women to be wrestling; allowing them to do such wouldn't shift the normal distribution of traits players posses much and therefore shouldn't affect how teams train and games play. Side: Girls should be allowed.
Although I do not think girls SHOULD join mens wrestling-due to high probability of injury, harassment (intentional or otherwise), or general discomfort- I have no place to enforce my opinions on any woman. Wrestle where you want, I have no right to stop you, nor does anybody else. Side: Girls should be allowed.

The one and ONLY area that males have an advantage over females is upper body strength, which begins at puberty. Until then, boys and girls of the same size and weight have about the same strength. I see nothing wrong with girls wrestling, but only with each other. Other contact sports, like karate, would be okay between girls and boys. Side: Girls should not be allowed.
