Even if that moronic scenario was the best way to "enforce" homosexuality, you really think America should be trusted with this duty? If you overlook the Muslim countries, America probably has the most deep seated and inbred fear and hatred of homosexuals. Over 90% of this country is Christian, for Christs sake! We're the home of the Bible belt, where coming out publicly as gay is social suicide, and is as good and being excommunicated from the community - that is, if the homosexual in question isn't assaulted or murdered by those who turn the other cheek and shall not kill. We didn't even allow gays to serve in the military, and they can only do so now if they pretend they aren't homosexual. No, if you gave the US military orders to go 'enforce' homosexuality around the globe, what you'd end up with is a worldwide, gay bloodbath. I just went and looked it up I guess Obama started some legislation that would negate "Dont Ask, Dont Tell" and allow gays to serve openly in the Army. That was 2011, and now in 2012 it doesn't seem to be any more final; it also looks like if any Republican gets elected this year, they plan on re-instituting DADT. So while things are surely getting better for gays in the US military, I would call the issue far from settled. Regardless this is the kind of thing we should have settled in the 30s or 40s - I'm kind of appalled we're still discussing it as an issue now in 2012. But that just proves my point: America is rabidly religious and rabidly anti-homosexual. And I apologize for my slight initial misinformation; I went without any news or media for a couple years recently, and a lot changed in that time. I'm generally pretty good about checking my old facts for recent developments, but I dropped the ball this time around. Side: No

My feckin British ass! lol its not gay peoples fault they're gay they were made that way!.. some of my best mates are gay...maybe if more people had the confidence to come out the closet and were accepted to marry, it would actually decrease the problem of over population (and depression).. and give more orphans the chance to have a home with two people that will love them and ideally be able to grow up in a worlld where they arent alienated by haters who swear by a book that was written over 2000 years ago when people also believed the world was flat!.. stick that in ur pipe and smoke it! Not all countries are keen on homosexuality, and it has been that way for centuries. It even says in the Bible that you will go to hell if you are gay. According to Corinthians: - "Neither the sexually immoral nor ... homosexual offenders ... will inherit the kingdom of God". - As I have proven not everyone is keen on homosexuals and Christians may have particular dislike towards it.
