Should humans be allowed to kill sharks?

I'm supporting sharks that they should not be killed. I just want other peoples opinions on the topic. Here's arguement of why they shouldn't be killed

1. Sharks have been around for about 400,000,000 years.

2) the human race has only been around for like a 1,000,000 or so.

3) many sharks are endangered because of illegal hunting. Somepork ple still illegally hunt sharks for sport.

4) sharks attack people because some cities are where shakes used to live.

5) a shark is being a shark

6) we entered their waters so we shouldn't have an excuse to kill them because they attacked someone

Nah...

Statistics say that vending machines kill more people on average yearly, than sharks.

We should be allowed to kill vending machines!

On the basis that sharks can only be utilized for their food consumption and one cannot wear a shark, as one can wear a bear for comfort, I'd say no, they should not be hunted and killed by human beings.

But like I said, if for some reason a shark was my only source of food, and I could actually kill it, I would. Otherwise, I'd say no.

Do you not need plants to survive? Do you not eat vegatables that are also plants? Do you not need photosynthesis that occurs in green plants? Green plants can regrow each year. There are many other green plants around the world so you really do not have a need to eat shark.

You can drill a hole in a shark tooth and put a string in the hole and make it into necklace or bracelet can one not?

You ate shark meat? But that's wrong! There are over 400 species of sharks and many of them are very endangered! Don't you care about the ecosystem of the sharks they live in? What happens if one type of shark goes extinct? What happens to the ecosystem? No good things that's for sure!

Weve only explored 3% of the ocean, im sure there are tons of sharks

I don't think sharks are attacking humans as willful revenge for humans building cities where sharks used to live. I think sharks are just predators that are libel to take a bite out of anything swimming in the ocean.

I don't think humans hunt sharks as willful revenge for sharks attacking humans. I think humans just realize there is a lot of money involved in killing sharks and selling them.

Sharks are attacking people for food. Take the Bahamas for example. The waters there are clean and full of life so the sharks have no need to attack people. I can't remember what this one city is called but take their waters for example. It's all dirty with trash. It's not full of life for sharks to eat other fish. In fact there are no fish near there so the sharks have no choice but to attack the humans for food.

Sharks do attack people in the Bahamas, the Bahamas has a beach that made the top 10 for most likely to get attacked by a shark. In fact, in general a lot of the most dangerous beaches for shark attacks are actually beautiful beaches with clear and clean water. It has a lot more to do with where sharks normally hang out or hunt than pollution.

Also, most sharks that attack people are not doing it for food; the most common type of attack is a "hit-and-run" where the shark bites, decides it doesn't like what it tastes, and leaves. It's very, very rare for a shark to attack and eat a whole human being. We don't seem to be their natural prey.

The second most common attack is essentially a mistake on the sharks part. They attack surfers because the silhouette of a surfer looks like the silhouette of a seal; they attack people with reflective gear or shiny jewelry, because it looks like the scales on a fish. And, again, more often than not after taking a taste the shark decides that we're not in fact food and swims away.

Even in the very rare instance of a fatal shark attack, the victim usually dies from trauma or blood loss, not because the victim was eaten by the shark.
