Should my neise that is turning 12 dye her hair? She has a beautiful brown hair but wants to dye it champaign blond, (very light blond). My sister keeps asking me what i think. I dont think so, but she wants to know what more people think.

So technically she isn't dying her hair, she is bleaching it. This is not something you should do at home. If she wants to become a blonde she should get a partial higlight on the top, and keep getting hilights every month until she has her desired color. If she bleaches it all at once it will ruin her hair and it will not be very soft. Also doing just the top leave the bottom natural and healthy. Leave bleaching to the proffessionals!!! Side: yes
I think your neice should die her hair because she should be trusted with a calm colour not anything that is hugely noticable, but i think it would be better if you go to the hair dressers because you might get 2 different colours just like one of my friends did. :) Side: yes

No kid at that age should be allowed to dye her hair. She'll have to do it professionally every month and she has no idea what dyed hair feels like wet or dry. You'd never get her hair to a champagne blonde without an expert colorist. Her hair will be like straw if she keeps doing it and I wouldn't recommend it at all. Side: No
