I think on their very first argument we should oppose saying:

No you're wrong!

Or just have everyone downvote their very first argument. Only the emotionally strong will survive!

I was going to suggest that too, but I thought that would scare them away from CD if they logged on the next day and found out their very first argument has a score of -35 or something! :P

Does it really matter? What can we do ... so I say nope. Most ' new recruits ' seem to only post once, mainly because they search something on google or whatever they read everyones opinion post their own and forget about it.
