This is what the slippery slope does to a nation. Remember when Homosexuality was considered a mental disorder by doctors and psychologists? What happened? Gay activist groups started crucifying doctors for saying it was a disorder, and they pressured doctors to change their views. Then they told us they wanted civil unions for Gays. Then they told us they wanted States to have the freedom to choose Gay marriage. Then Democrats appointed activist Liberal Supreme court Justices who forced EVERY State to change their marriage laws. Once the Left got what they wanted with Homosexuality, they instantly switched to non stop coverage of Transgender politics with Bruce Jenner being their poster child. Transgender today is also looked at as a disorder, until the Leftwing activists in the Democrat Party start forcing every State to bow to their political correct extremism. Soon any doctor who calls Transgender a disorder will be run out of business. This is how Big Brother control fanatics work. Right now they are going through the Supreme court to force EVERY PUBLIC SCHOOL to allow so called Transgender boys in our daughter's bathrooms. Once they get everything they want with Transender disorders the next move might be pedophiles. Just like all the other unnatural sexual orientations, Pedophiles also say they are born with an attraction for children, and therefore is not a choice and they should not be discriminated for who they are. CAN YOU SEE THIS SICK SLIPPERY SLOPE AND WHERE OUR NATION IS HEADED? Our laws are being transformed by radical Political correct extremists whose entire goals are to force all Americans to embrace every weird sexual orientation, becuase once you embrace one, you will be forced to embrace them all. WHERE DOES IT ALL STOP? Criminals will say they were born to commit crimes. The democrat Party has become the extreme Liberal no fault Party that is making excuses for every irresponsible, illegal, criminal acts out there. I said I would be fine with the death penalty for pedophile rapists because I actually care for our children. That would mean the courts had decided to have the death penalty for that crime as they have for certain murderers. When people know the results of a crime and still commit the crime, they have made the decision to accept the death penalty if caught. THEIR CHOICE! Don't worry, it will never happen because weak no fault Democrats care little for our childrens safety. They care more for the criminal's safety. The Bible never condemned the death penalty. It said he without sin cast the first stone when it came to adultery. The Bible clearly supports capital punishment. Side: Yes

Yes, depending on the severity of what they did. If two teens are close to each other in age and have sex but one is below the legal threshold and it makes it statutory rape then the older teen should NOT face a death penalty. However, in the most absolute extreme examples of pedophilia, such as when an old man penetrates a baby, then those are people who are true menaces and don't deserve their lives any more. The lawmakers can write up what gets what, I'm not claiming to have all the answers. But I do indeed think the worst cases should face dire consequences, and the cases which are more technicality should have a consequence but not a life destroying one. Side: Yes
It is a pointless exercise sending paedophiles to jail as this form of punishment will never cure them of their vile disease. Such a futile approach to this awful problem should be abandoned in favour of carrying out both, surgical and chemical castration. A sort of 'double indemnity' so to speak. Due to the unthinkable suffering they cause children whose lives are traumatized, and in many cases ruined forever, these sub-humans should also have the word,''PAEDOPHILE'' branded on their foreheads and all other visible parts of their body such as hands and forearms.
Such actions may not expunge their diseased minds of their unnatural desires but it would render them easier to control and greatly reduce the likelihood of other unidentified paedophiles offending. Also legislation should be passed that anyone who has kicked the shit out off a paedophile, or even killed one is automatically pardoned without all the time consuming and expensive legal razz-a-matazz . In ''days of yore'' I'm sure the men and woman of the village or neighbourhood would have kicked the local paedophile up and down the streets as well as removing their testicles and chopper to display on a pole as a deterrent to other would be child molesters. The question is where do we draw the line? Some areas allow marriage at the age of 16. In some cultures, they marry even younger. I've always thought that 18 was too old. In colonial times, marriage at the age of 15 or 16 was common. What has changed between then and now, that someone can go to prison for having sex with someone the day before their 18th birthday? I think it should be based on a persons maturity, and ability to take care of themselves and raise a family. Also, if one is physically and mentally mature, they should be able to do what they want. Age has little to do with that. It's life experience that determines that. Side: Yes
In many developing countries, especially some African nations where as a result of the lack of medication, proper nutrition and hygiene life expectancy is significantly less than in the west. That means that the time frame in which to have children is very limited and therefore carnal relationships commence at puberty. The rather unpleasant adage describing what nature intended;'if they can bleed, they can breed'' pretty well sums it up. As a father of two daughters I was very protective of my children until well after their 18th birthdays but nevertheless feel that there are two levels of paedophilia. The first one is of course the vilest of crimes, being that of abusing a child who has not matured. The second one which is also a heinous crime, is that of abusing pubescent children ( early adolescence), normally referred to as hemophilia. Hemophilia may be regarded by some as the lesser of the two dastardly crimes, but my personal opinion is that whilst they may not be quite on a par, they are very close on the the ''vileometer ''. No. There are some people falsely accused of being a pedophile, it ruins their life and the liar gets away with it. Unless there is 100% no question of a doubt that the person did it, they shouldn't get put to death. And even then there needs to be stipulations. An 18 year old dating a 16 year old shouldn't be labeled as a sexual predator or pedophile if it is mutual. But an much older person raping a baby should be treated differently and removed from society permanently. Side: No
