Should people clean up after their cat if it craps in you garden?

If a dog comes and does it's business in my garden it's illegal if a cat does it it's perfectly okay. I'm sick of picking up cat poop from my garden when I know exactly who owns the cat (although I generally just flick it back into their garden now). Is it fair?

Here the owner of the cat, dog sometimes kids who don't wear a nappy are responsible to clean up the poop made by their pets and kids. There is no discussion here, the owner simply sends a server or comes by themselves and cleans up the shit. I'm surprised that you clean it yourself all the time. We never do it here at my place.

They won't, I've asked. I rang the council and they just spewed the bullshit 'cats are free roaming'. The same response I got when I complained about their cat outside my house meowing for 16 hours a day (no exaggeration) waking the entire household up! I never disliked cats until now. Now I can't stand the vile little creatures.

I know.. I can understand what it is like. I just wish they were friendly there like over here. It must be pretty annoying cleaning the shit up or being woken up all the time.

If you know who's cat it is I'd advise going to their door and telling them to pick it up or it will brown tinted windows for them every time their rancid mog soils your garden. (I hate cats by the way)

It really is not fair for people to have to clean up someone elses animals poop. And I would fling it right back to their lawn and let them clean it up. Have you told them about it?

Side: Yes!

It's common courtesy and a cat owner should take care of the animal waste.
