Let me make a clarification on what I mean by bad. What I dont mean is bad in the sense of personal opinion. For example you might say, this soup is bad. Meaning you dont like it. What I do mean by bad is in the objective sense. Were the thing in and of its self is actually bad, like rape. Its not that we dont like rape that makes it bad, it is something about rape that makes it bad. That's what I mean by bad. An act that by its nature is bad. Side: Yes they should

Your not saying that it's OK to do bad things to some people and not others and I hope you're not arguing that it's OK to do bad things sometimes. All people, irregardless of any factor, are to be treated with dignity and respect. It is always right to do what is right and it is always wrong to do what is wrong. The violation of another human being is always wrong and that wrong ought to be punished otherwise you show disrespect to all humans and strip all humans of their dignity. A place we should never go. It might be hard to see at first how punishing one person shows respect to all people but it does indeed because it says how we value human beings. Side: Yes they should
