Should schools monitor students activity inside a toilet cubicule?

Schools have started to monitor girls in the bathrooms having a wee, or changng a pad, should this be allowed?

Outside of the cubicule I think it is fine, as some students smoke or break dress codes, but inside the cubibule, no.

I guess you could solve kids smoking, drinking and texting in the bathroom by putting cameras in there. I guess you could stop children beatings by putting cameras in all the houses. I guess you could stop people from driving recklessly by putting cameras in their cars.

This way of thinking doesn't solve a problem, it just creates a new and intrudes on someone else privacy.

What's the purpose of them monitoring the cubicles? Are they doing drugs in there? Are they masturbating in the stalls? Seems weird to me.

No, schools absolutely should not monitor people's activities within the confines of the toilet cubicle.

I believe that there is a certain level of privacy everyone deserves. I think this is one of them. I also beleive that we would need to move to co-Ed bathrooms being the norm before we could get to monitoring toilet cubicles.
