Should stem cell research be legal?

Stem cell research is a controversial topic because it's gotten from the premature cells of aborted fetuses, yet the uses could be fantastic, like curing all sorts of deseases. What do you think, shout it be legal or not?

Absolutely, great discoveries could be hindered because someone on there fat behind said don't do it. "Why?" Because I said so. Then again H2O2 cures cancer diabetes aids and other diseases and noone cares about that. People don't want disease cured. They have proven it to me every day.

Too bad you are no longer active.

I would like to see you explain how hydrogen peroxide cures diseases.

Did you know that your white blood cells produce hydrogen peroxide to kill bacteria in the blood stream? If not, further research on your part may help your inconceivable nature.

So many diseases will eventually be cured through Stem Cell Research. Also, amputees may be able to grow another arm or a leg through Stem Cell Research.

yes! its anew step into science, and who wants to stop science? why are we debating this in the first place? its not like its gonna change every thing.

Hmmm.... good topic. Well my position is pretty much undifined. Here are my positions: Although I am not agains using these cells I don't think its good idea. If we were able to cure most diseases population would increase, also if we are all healty it leads us to another question: I's it against human nature? Well probably because if we wete all equal and healty there wouldn't be need for different opinions..... I'm against anything that leads to social uniformity

I am voting no simply because of the inaccuracies in the description. You are referring to embryonic stem cells. They do not come from aborted fetuses. They are only available from the blastocyst as the fetus has already differentiated. There are already established stem cell lines as well so there is no additional extraction.

There is also plenty of research done on adult stem cells, basically the same as embryonic lines.
