Should stores ask for ID when buying condoms or pregnancy tests?
Do you think some outlets for example (Safeway) should need to ask for ID from a person when trying to buy condoms or pregnancy tests? Or should people of any age be able to go in and buy the protection they need?

I think that ppl of any age should be able to buy protection any were, because some kids would just go off and have unsafe sex!!!..Also most kids having sex are teens. And you might say, "well teens shouldnt even be haven sex at their age." But i will just tell u now ITS ALREADY HAPPENING, nd u cant change the past or there-for the future. Plus by being able to buy protection without ID, it would probably decrees unwanted pregnancy's or even abortions :) and if you wer to go around asking teens that have a child or are pregnant they would probably tell you it was because they didnt have protection or it broke because they had to go some were and buy the cheap ones from like the dollar store or something. Also its sort of the same with pregnancy tests, girls of any age should have that privilege to see whether or not they will have a young one on the way. So i say no stores should not have the right to ask for ID when some one might be buying protection to have safe sex or even just pregnancy tests. 2

For goodness sake, ID??? Why would anyone need ID for pregnancy tests? Or for condoms? There is nothing in them which is harmful to the person using them, only beneficial (thus carding in the same way that alcohol or cigarettes are carded doesn't apply). There is no reason why that person would need to be tracked in anyway (carding is required for pseudoephedrine products in Australia to track multiple purchase points, thereby pinpointing possible speed labs). Is there some sort of minimum age requirement for these products in your country? If not, this is an unacceptably intrusive practice. If it were here in Australia, it would be in violation of privacy laws. Side: No
Cigarettes are a product consumed through smoking and manufactured out of cured and finely cut tobacco leaves and reconstituted tobacco, often combined with other additives,[1] then rolled or stuffed into a paper-wrapped cylinder (generally less than 120 mm in length and 10 mm in diameter). No! I don't think they ever had? Well anyway I know that some kid can just walk to the Wellness Center and get a bag of condoms for free. Why should they? Teens are going to fu-- around and everyone knows it. So why not do it safely? I'm not saying I promote "under aged" sex I'm just saying there is nothing you can really do to prevent it. Side: No
I'd much rather see a 15-year-old go into the store and buy condoms then know that the same 15-year-old isn't using protection. Sex is pleasurable, so enjoy it. But be careful to avoid any consequences because I'm a firm believer in making people live with their consequences. However, just because I think this, does not mean I want young teens going out and just having sex all the time. I think it's important for a parent to sit his or her child down and talk about sex. My mom talked about it to me (too much though lol) and I feel ready for it. I know the consequences so I'm still a virgin. And yeah, even though I've never had the opportunity, I have never pursued it. But I'm going to be ready when the time comes. Side: No
