If a teen learns to drive with an adult over the age of 25, hey learn how to learn responsibly. Now if you don't let anyone drive until they'er 18 they will have less experience and more accidents. when they learn with an adult they can get corrected so that when they're driving by theirself's they can remeber how to get on the freeway or how to make a "U" turn. So if you put someone that was 18 that has never driven before on the road with someone that was 15 and had plenty of practice....I'd be more fearful of the 18year old.....and also I'm 15 Side: yes

If you mean driving as in permit, yes. To the ones saying no, are you saying they should start learning how to drive while they are adults? Then they wont know any information on driving, so they'll be new and just as reckless. You have to build up your skill. You shouldn't just go straight driving by yourself at 15, but with an adult is guaranteed to be safe (almost, because not even all adults are mature, so only sticking 15 year old teens in that category is unfair) Side: Yes

I couldn't wait to get my licence. Theres' a simple formula to all this, the more younger drivers on the road, the more serious injuries and deaths we get on the road. Sure, there might be some 15 year olds capable of being responsible enough to hold a licence, but unfortunately this is not the case for all 15 year olds. Not all 16 year olds should be on the road, not all 30 year olds should - but the idea is, the higher you go in age, the more responsible and capable the driver will be. As road users, we must accept the human cost. In America, about 95 people a day are killed on the road. That's the price we pay for being able to drive round great lumps of steel. If 95 people died in plane crashes in America each month, no one would fly. In Australia, drivers aged 17-25 are responsible for 25% of road fatalities, but only 10% of drivers, and the younger they are, the higher the chance of dying. Make the most of mums taxi for just a bit longer kids! Side: No
I'm 15 and I can drive pretty well, this is through always watching people driving and always playing simulators, simulators help a lot as the air force use plane simulators before they actually fly a plane. Driving is a fun experience and when on the road you know the difference between over taking vehicles on a game and driving correctly in real life. if any one that thinks that shouldn't be aloud then they are predictably wrong, this is because they have already passed their test and they did their test at 17 so they want everyone else to do it so they don't feel left out. a 14 year olds mind is still learning so it will pick up how to drive a lot quicker than a 18 year old. I'm from England and even though driving is illegal, driving on private land isn't but it isn't as fun either, that's why lowering the driving age would reduce crime because teens would be occupied by things they like to do instead of pissing about on the streets. I think 15-year-olds should be able to have a learner's permit, but not a full license. People of the age of fifteen are just not mature enough. Besides, most jobs won't even hire until you are sixteen or older. Many 16-year-olds aren't even mature enough to drive! With a learner's permit, you have to drive with a legal, licensed adult over the age of 21, so you will most likely be paying more attention, and if something were to happen, the adult could take over. Not all states do this, but at 16, where I am from, if you have had your learner's permit for six months and pass the test, you can get a provisional license. With that, you can drive by yourself, but you can only have one extra passenger. After six months of that and after passing the test, you can get an almost complete license. Then the last step is turning 18. But back to the case at point, 15-year-olds should not be allowed to drive. 14-year-olds should DEFINITELY not be allowed to drive. Did I want to drive at 14? Duh! But now I look back and realize that I probably would have killed someone. Side: No

When I was 15 which was only two years ago this would have been the greatest thing ever but the answer is just no. I'm 17, almost 18, and just passed and it took a lot of listening, hard work and care to be able to do it without injuring someone. Its just silly letting 15 year olds drive, the only thing any of us were concerned about when we were 15 was being cool and that completely disregards rules and safety Side: No

• Only Permits should be issued at 15
The highest percent of car crashes is in teens, and we need more experience. At 15 you think you know what you are doing. Some people do, though. But there are many who are on drugs or just live life to party. That is not okay! If they get in a crash with all their friends that's their fault and the friends have to suffer, wrecks happen often but are higher caused in teens. Side: No

That's crazy. A 15 year old is not even an legal age. Why should they be able to drive? They are not considered as adults who can take full responsibility so how are they going to be responsible for themselves and the car? They would be still in school and still dependant on their guardians/parents. I believe teens should be able to drive when they are 18 years of age, who are out of school and are considered as an adult. That is absurd to even suggest that a 15 year old should be able to drive. In my eyes, a 15 year old is still a child. Side: No
