As someone who might have thyroid cancer due to smoking and genetics, I DON'T CARE! People don't need to pump their bodies full of addictive carcinigens, they need addiction care to quit smoking.

As someone who might have thyroid cancer due to smoking and genetics I DON'T CARE!

Your reaction is merely due to the fact that you may have thyroid cancer , I’d wager before this was the case you would have strongly resisted such a tax.

I don’t believe you either way as you also post up a debate topic which places you once again as a victim fighting against yet another imagined outrage against yourself

People don't need to pump their bodies full of addictive carcinigens, they need addiction care to quit smoking.

People don’t need to fill their bodies full of fast food and do so why not dractically increase sin tax on fast foods as the damage it does to people is widespread?

You might actually want to keep smoking as it may decrease the risk of thyroid cancer ....

.No risk factors other than ionizing radiation have been identified for differentiated thyroid cancer. Studies of the relationship of thyroid cancer with cigarette smoking have been contradictory. Most studies of alcohol consumption have found no association with thyroid cancer.

If a person chooses to take that first cigarette even though thousands of health professionals constantly telling you it will someday kill you, then YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE for the choice you made.

If a person chooses to abuse alcohol, and someday becomes an alcoholic? It's his fault and not a disease. The Left refuses to hold people accountable for irresponsible choices in life. They want to force tax payers to enable other's irresponsibility.

They do this for votes! It's all politics.
