Should the Third Amendment be taken out of the Constitution
The Third Amendment says that no soldier shall house himself in a persons home without consent of he owner. However, we do not have that problem anymore. Should it be removed from the Constitution?

Well, it is a bit antiquated, since it was originally referring to British soldiers forcing the colonists to house them during the era of the Revolutionary War. But, I say, we should probably keep it. After all, the USA is becoming more of a police state all the time. The Patriot Act already effectively robbed us of at least three or four Constitutional Rights. So we need to hold on to all we can! |
